LILA'S POV đŸș His chest rose and fell against my cheek, steady and calm, and I didn’t want to move. But then he pulled back just enough to look at me, his dark eyes searching my face like I was some kind of treasure. “Come,” Darius said softly. “You don’t belong in here anymore.” I nodded without even thinking. The idea of staying in that room suddenly felt wrong, like a nightmare I didn’t want to remember. He reached behind me and unlatched the heavy door. The click of the lock echoed in the quiet. Then the door creaked open, letting in a slice of dim hallway light. I hesitated only for a second. His hand slid down to mine, warm and firm. He tugged gently. I followed. The hall was colder than the room, smelling faintly of pine oil and stone. Two guards stood just a few steps away
