LILA'S POV 🐺 The sound of voices and footsteps woke me again. The whole packhouse felt alive, buzzing with movement. I sat up quickly, my hair falling over my face. Two omegas hurried past my door carrying silver lanterns. “Careful with those!” one whispered, but they both smiled as they glanced inside. “Morning, Luna,” they said together. “Good morning,” I replied, forcing a smile. A third omega entered with a tray of bread and fruit. She set it down on the table. “You need your strength,” she said softly. “The rehearsal is soon.” Rehearsal. The word made my stomach twist.
