‘’What’s that beeping I said to myself as I tried to study my environment , Looking around I turned to see if my mom or dad where around only for the door to open revealing them .....’’My mom came dashing in with the intention of giving me a hug but I quickly stopped her on her tracks as I screamed for her not to touch me , No mom don’t come close I said with utter fear in my voice and facial expression .....My parents were stunned by my expression with my mom giving me an expression of both what’s wrong and sad a look on her face ....’’ Hijo [son] what’s wrong , My dad asked trying to come closer .’’No dad don’t come close , Bebe what’s wrong my mom asked looking at me with a sad look on her face.... Nothing mom I just don’t want you guys touching me , And why is that Leonardo ?’’My dad asked trying to hold my hand ... Ok my love we won’t touch you but tell me do you feel any pain ,’’My dad asked holding my mom’s hand , No I don’t I said smiling weakly at both of them ....’’Bueno I’ll go get the doctor to come check up on you , My love stay here with him I’ll be back soon my dad said kissing my mom’s head , Si .’’My dad quickly left to get the doctor to come check up on me , my mom kept giving me a sad expression as she couldn’t say anything to me because of my sudden reaction and I couldn’t understand the sudden fear I feel whenever someone tries to touch me ... ‘’My dad and a man came walking in cutting me short on trying to discover what was wrong with me .’’Buenas noches Mrs Ruiz the man said to my mom making her to only hum.... And good evening to you Leonardo I see you’re finally awake he said smiling at me , Si I said giving him a blank expression on my face , Pardon me I’m Doctor Dantez I’ll be asking you a few questions to make sure you’re okay hope you don’t mind he said smiling .’’No I don’t as long as you’re not touching me , Si I won’t let’s begin then he asked looking at me waiting for a response but I only nodded.... Do you feel any pain ? ‘’Yes I do , where ?? He asked cautiously ....My head I said groaning , He looked at me only nodding then turned to my parents .’’So what’s wrong with him my mom asked hastily , He has Haphephobia ....’’And what the f**k is that my dad asked annoyed , It is an intense irrational fear of being touched or touching others .Was Leonardo ever assaulted in the past he asked looking at my parents with a sad expression .’’No never my parents said together , Ok but usually this happens to people who have been assaulted sexually or in any other form but since you guys are 100% he wasn’t then I’ll say it’s because of the accident because of the sudden shock , event , and the environment it may have altered his brain and that is what is causing this I’d say he can recover quickly because he’s still young and with the right treatment , therapy , and help from his loved ones he will be just fine he just needs to be respected whenever he tells anyone he doesn’t want to be touched to be given reassurance that he is fine and safe . ‘’ So he’ll be fine my mom asked hugging my dad with tears rolling down her eyes , Yes Mrs Ruiz he will.... Good so can we take him home ?? My dad asked holding my mom closer to him ... Si Mr Ruiz .’’ That was the feedback Doctor Dantez gave my patients 20years ago and now I’m still standing here with this condition getting more intense by the day ... My irritation towards everyone and anyone becomes scarier by the minute but I tend to manage myself which I don’t know how long I’ll be able to contain it , I said in my head as I cleaned my wet black hair with a towel heading towards my closet to get dressed . After getting dressed in my brioni suit I headed down the stairs when I remembered I have some packages that just arrived but I also recall telling Dylan to drop them at the office so why did Naomi come to my room to tell me they just arrived urghh I groaned as I sat down at my dining table for breakfast just to be graced by Madam Rosaline’s presence....’’ Buenos dias senor she greeted beaming at me , Manana Rosalina I said sliming at her .Rosaline was like a mom to me to her presence always made me feel relaxed , I picked up my phone and called Dylan to ask him about the packages . ‘’Good morning sir he said from the other side of my phone , Morning Dylan has the package been dropped off at the company .... Yes sir I am on my way to pick you up .’’Good be here in 15minutes don’t be late , Yes sir he said as I ended the call ....Yet another day to deal with humans I said as I dugged into my breakfast.
