Mr James had cleaned up the bar and was ready to open it any moment now. He entered Alex's room and tapped on the door.

"Yes, sir?" Axel walked outside his room.

"I want you to buy some groceries. Could you please get me some potatoes and beans?"

"Sure sir." 

Mr James gave him some money and he dashed out of the bar on his roller skates. He slowed down as he reached the end of the street and began walking. He stood near the red light, ready to cross the street when he looked at a dustbin. There were three small puppies inside it. They were dirty and stinky. He picked up one of them. It had deep blue eyes, which almost looked black and a thin fur coat. Axel looked at him. They had the same eye colour.

"Hello there, buddy."

Slaine walked into Jimmy's room while he lay on the bed with bandages around his n***d upper body. Lupin sat beside him.

"Is he still not conscious?" Slaine asked. Lupin shook his head.

Slaine walked towards the balcony and stood at the railings. He turned around and saw Asselyum sitting near the window. Her eyes were closed and a wire from her neck was connected to the power supply. He looked at her.

"Sorry," Slaine mumbled as he looked at her. She didn't respond. He touched her face. A faint hologram opened from her eyelashes "Go to the past—Find me and kill me!" A guy shouted as he stood in front of her. The hologram suddenly closed by itself "Were those your memories? So, you can make holograms even when you are asleep?"

He moved closer to her eyes and opened her eyelids. Her iris had an electric blue shine in it and he could see all the wires inside her eyes. If he focused, he could even hear the voices of the various machines inside her "How hard he must have worked to make you this perfect. Even the tiniest wire was placed perfectly."

Suddenly, the sirens went off. The lights turned red. He ran out of the room into the basement. Lupin held a page in his hand "Asselyum is charging—You go."

"Goddamn, why me?" Slaine said. Lupin flipped the page "Jimmy is hurt. Axel is in danger, the X-DROID is in the same area as him—Are you f*****g kidding me?!" Slaine shouted as he grabbed his jacket from the sofa and Lupin pointed at the location which was blinking as a red point on the screen.

"It's near the time square—How will I get there so fast?! Teleportation won't work without Asselyum," Slaine said and Lupin threw a skateboard at him. Slaine looked at it and smirked "Hell yeah!"

He went down the streets, jumping over footpaths and other obstacles on his skateboard. Finally, he saw Axel roaming here and there with the grocery bag and a puppy in his hand. It was crowded. He grabbed Axel and picked him on the skateboard.

"Tsk! I should've brought a longboard instead." Slaine said.

"What the—Why are you here?" Axel looked at him.

Suddenly, one of the glasses of a shop broke and a girl jumped out of it. She had her mouth displaced to the left side of her face.

"Lupin!" Slaine shouted. Lupin switched off all the security cameras and cut down the power supply of that area and it turned dark. Axel jumped down from the skateboard and switched his boots to skates. Slaine went ahead at full speed and pulled her with him, dragging her on the road. They entered a dark street where he left her hand.

"Slaine!" Axel shouted from the open end of the street.

"Lupin, just call Asselyum. I don't care if she isn't fully charged—Just get her!" Slaine took out his g*n and shot the X-DROID.

"Your aim is bad—"

"Shut up! Run!"

They both ran on their board and skates.

"My butt!" Slaine shouted. Axel looked at Slaine's butt and found that the puppy he had picked up on the street had dug his teeth into his skin and was hanging on his a*s.

"Let him be," Axel said.

"f**k you!" Slaine shouted.

Lupin sat in front of his laptop and did a mental facepalm. "Sit!" Slaine grabbed Axel and both of them fell in the manhole just before them.

"Ugh! Wow! What an amazing way to 'sit', isn't it?" Axel said.

"Well, first of all," Slaine pulled the dog away and kicked him aside. "We were saved and that's all that matters,"

"Shut up! And don't kick a little puppy! It's animal a***e!" Axel hugged the dog.

"Yeah, animal a***e is wrong. Humans can be abused but animal a***e is bad?"

"Yes!"

"Doesn't mean that he can eat my a*s!" Slaine looked at his bleeding butt.

"He's my family now," Axel said as he hugged the dog.

"A dog? Sure. I'm glad you found one of your kind."

"At least I have a family,"

Slaine didn't say anything and started walking.

Axel realised he shouldn't have said that. Both of them continued walking for a while until the dog bit Slaine's hand and he shouted: "What the f**k is wrong with it?!" It ran towards the exit and they followed him. Axel climbed up "Finally I'm out of this—" Axel looked at Slaine "Stinking hell."

"You!" Slaine shouted and began climbing up. But as soon as he did, he could feel something pulling him down. It was that X-DROID girl. She shrieked and so did he. Out of reflex, he kicked her face "Ugly! Ew!"

She grabbed his leg with her claws and scratched them. "Am I seriously gonna die in a gutter?! C'mon God, man!"

Suddenly, she left his leg and disappeared. Maybe, she was pulled down further by someone else. He could hear her shrieks after that and he quickly climbed up the manhole. He looked down and saw two blue eyes shining at him. As he moved closer, he saw that it was Asselyum.

"Are you an expert troublemaker?" Asselyum was covered in her blood.

"You stink" Slaine covered his nose as he looked at the blood on her.

"Not as bad as you." Asselyum picked him up on her back.

"I assume you can't walk anymore?" She said with him into her arms, "Lupin, teleport us."

Soon, they were back inside the basement.

"Hey, guys. How was it?" Jimmy said as he stood beside Lupin. They were covered in blood so Lupin and Jimmy didn't know how to react.

"You're up?" Axel asked.

"Yeah. It hurts a lot—I can't move my shoulder very much but otherwise, I'm golden. Asselyum—Nurse me to health, mommy~"

"This pervert." Slaine cringed.

"Lupin will do that. He's better at nursing." Asselyum said.

"Man, that's no fun," Jimmy complained as Lupin smiled.

"Alright, I'm going to wash up," Slaine walked out of the basement into the bathroom.

"I should wash up too." Asselyum walked away.

"Wait—We only have one bathroom," Axel said.

"Asselyum!" Jimmy shouted but she had left, "This will be interesting." 

Slaine took a deep breath as he sat into the bathtub "Finally some peace... Today was a weird-a*s day." He touched his bruise which was luckily just a few scratches. Thanks to skateboarding—He was used to bruises and scratches. Asselyum opened the bathroom door.

"I wanna talk," She said and Slaine stared at her. The entire bar was filled with a loud scream. Lupin and Jimmy sat in the bar while eating chips and drinking cola in front of Mr James and some other customers.

"What was that?" Axel asked as he looked up.

"Nothing, Slaine is being a*s-f****d," Jimmy laughed while Lupin drank a cup of tea. 

"Mr James! I found this puppy—Can I keep it?" Axel asked with a smile.

"By all means, you can. But, you must take good care of it, Axel." Mr James said with a smile.

"Yay! I'll call him Elron!" Axel smiled.

"What a damn gay name—Is what Slaine would say" Jimmy just had to be a d**k.

"Being a d**k doesn't make yours bigger." Axel rolled his eyes.

"Well, I'm kinder than him," Jimmy smiled.

"Shut yo' crusty a*s up," Axel said.

"Excuse me but my a*s is smooth as f**k!"

Slaine covered his crotch "Can we talk later? I'm kinda in the middle of something here."

"No, it must be done right away." She moved closer to him.

"Why are you coming closer? Gimme my clothes first! Hey!"

Jimmy and the others just heard them shout from the floor above.

"Relax."

"I can't!"

"I'm servicing you."

"I don't want any services—Just leave me alone!"

Everyone was speechless as they heard further screeches and shouts of Slaine.

"What is she doing to him that he is shouting so painfully?" Axel asked.

"...You're too young for that" Jimmy said as Lupin took another sip.

"When will they be done? I wanted to take a bath with Elron too." Axel groaned. Lupin took another sip of the tea as everyone else turned quiet.

"Say Lupin, are you English?" Jimmy asked.

Lupin picked up his notepad and Jimmy read, "Mexican—ooh. Uno, dos, tres!"

Till then, Asselyum came downstairs and sat with the others. They just quietly stared at her.

"What did you do?" Jimmy asked curiously.

"I massaged Slaine but he ran away in the middle of it." She said. Jimmy choked on his drink. Lupin continued drinking his tea.

"Is the bathroom free now? I want to wash up Elron!" Axel asked.

"Yes, it is," Asselyum said and Axel walked upstairs. 

Slaine fell on his bed and stuffed his face on his pillow, "She is crazy..."

"Am I?" Asselyum stood at his door.

"Why did you come back?!"

"I told you I wanted to talk."

"What do you want to talk about?"

"About what you're supposed to do. I'm sorry I didn't explain things and got so agitated when we messed up."

Slaine looked at her "You know what, I feel like... You can fight better without us. You beat them so easily when you're alone. We just gonna get in the way. You and Lupin are enough."

"As a matter of fact, we're not. Besides, you can never tell when Lupin might die."

Lupin went outside the bar to throw out the trash near the trash bin. It was pretty dark and as he walked he heard a few noises. The dins of wheels on the road. He suddenly turned back. It was Frank on his skateboard. Lupin looked at him and turned away, hitting onto Riley. They were both much taller than him and naturally, he was intimidated.

Riley smirked, "Hello, kid." He pressed his skateboard on his head, "Wanna board?"
