With the week moving on another week, an almost continuous downpour of rain had removed the slush and ice from all but the sorest memories. Hectic dashing about the city in the approaching Christmas rush was made easier by no longer carrying the risk of fractured limbs. Falzoni was very much pressed for time, hurrying between sessions with Goodblood, while still assisting MI6 with liaison talks, and lending a limb to that department of the Army that sought not to ruffle feathers on Capitol Hill by limiting distasteful field activities.
