15 04.21hrs (GMT), Somewhere over South Korean territory, heading for Seoul. The whole world could be shaking, for all you could feel all around you. But it wasn’t. It was the hulking great frame of the Lockheed C-130E Hercules USAF transport plane juddering from the might of its four 4050hp Allison T56-A-7 turbo-prop engines, with their four-bladed Hamilton Standard propellers tearing their way through the violent air turbulence of East Asian sky.
