Months had passed since Emily and Lucian's victory over Arkan. Lucian stepped forward, his eyes narrowing as he studied the symbols. "These symbols form a pattern. If we can solve it, we can open the door."

Working together, they deciphered the symbols and unlocked the door. Inside, the temple was dark and filled with an eerie silence. They made their way through the corridors, finally reaching a large chamber with a pedestal in the center. On the pedestal rested the Heart of Eternity, a glowing crystal that pulsed with a gentle light.

"Well, well," the vampire said. "I see you've found my prize."

"Who are you?" Lucian demanded.

Valerius moved with lightning speed, grabbing the Heart of Eternity before Emily could react. He laughed as he held the crystal aloft. "With this, I will become the most powerful vampire in the world. No one will be able to stop me."
