CHAPTER 2 Damon We lost. Northridge had not lost a single game in three years but tonight, we lost and it was all because of me. Coach Robert slammed the door shut behind him, causing the new wolves to flinch. "Everybody out!" He barked and my teammates began to leave. The moment we were left alone, his expression softened. When we were together as a team, I let him reign over me. It was expected of a Coach to do that to his players. When the opposite happened, it would become suspicious. I had no plans of stirring suspicions amongst the humans. The other wolves on Campus would understand but certainly not the humans. "What happened out there?" His voice had softened too. It was forbidden for an ordinary pack member to raise his voice at his Alpha. "You froze." He reminded me. "You don't freeze, Damon." I didn't look at him, let alone bothered to say anything. I remained seated on the bench, elbows on my knees while the same image continued to replay in my head. For no reason, I had taken my eyes off the puck and glanced at the stands which was something I had never done. One short glance couldn't have been enough to get me so distracted that we would lose against Titans. But then, my eyes landed on her. A strange pressure tightened in my chest. The thought of what that feeling could mean made my hands sweaty. It couldn't be. It couldn't f*****g be! My wolf had reacted to the human girl. I closed my eyes and got even angrier when I kept seeing her. It didn't make any f*****g sense. Why the f**k would my wolf react to a human? "Damon?" My eyes snapped open. The Coach was still here. Without saying anything to him, I picked my bag and walked out of the locker room. "None of us are good, Ryan!" I heard someone yelling at my Beta outside the locker room. "He cost us the Cup tonight and he's not even sorry about it!" It was a new player, he was human too. He attempted to speak again but reconsidered when he saw Ryan staring at me. When he turned around to look at me, his face turned pale. The wolves on Campus knew exactly who I was-exactly what I was-so they refrained from disrespecting me. On the other hand, the humans didn't but they felt it too. The compelling force in my aura that made them cower in my presence. The human rookie who hadn't even been on the ice tonight bowed his head and quickly moved aside. Still shocked by my own actions tonight, I walked away without saying anything to him. "Hey, man! Wait up!" Ryan called, following me. He got into the passenger seat of my car just as I got into the driver seat. "What happened out there, man?" Ryan and I were friends years before our Alpha and Beta bond clicked so he was the only person who could speak to me casually. "I don't know." I answered through clenched teeth. The more I more I thought about it, the angrier it made me. "Who was she? The girl, I mean." He was referring to the human girl. "That's what I need you to find out." "What?" Ryan laughed. "I didn't know you f****d around with humans now." "My wolf reacted to her." I interrupted his joke and his smile fell immediately. "How is that even possible?" Ryan frowned, just as confused as I am. "She can't possibly be...." "A human will never be my mate!" I growled. I refuse to believe that tiny reaction was a mate bond. I was an Alpha, I needed a strong wolf to be my Luna and lead my pack with me. Not some weak human who believed wolves only existed in myths. "Your wolf can't react to a human. It shouldn't unless she really is your mate." He muttered. "Find out who she is." Ryan suggested a club to cool off some steam. I already knew the Titans were going to be there but I still went over anyway. When we walked in I spotted them immediately at a corner, in their orange jerseys, being unnecessary loud. "Well, look who it is." Their Captain rose to his feet, acknowledging my presence. I took a few steps closer to him to smell him. He was human. His hands began to shake as soon as I got close to their table. The rest of his team noticed and immediately went quiet. "You were saying?" I raised a brow at him and c****d my head to the side. "N..n..... nothing." He stuttered, looking anywhere but my face. Seeing that none of them had anything else to say, I walked away with Ryan. "What happened to you?" I heard one of them ask their Captain. "I don't know, man." I could still hear the fear in his voice. Pathetic human. I looked over my shoulder and saw the girls slowly leaving them with disappointment on their faces. "They could never measure up to the wolves." Ryan laughed loud enough for them to hear. We got into our private VIP lounge and Ryan brought in three sluts. "Sisters?" I asked when I noticed they looked alike. "Yes, Alpha." They nodded simultaneously. "They will help you relax." Ryan said, referring to the human girl. I still could not stop images of her from replying in my head. I nodded at him and he excused us. While I still sat on the bed, one of them knelt in-between my legs. "May I?" She asked, her cheeks growing red. I spread my legs apart to show my permission and she unzipped my trouser immediately. My c**k sprang out, already begining to get hard. My fists hardened by my side when I realized that I had gotten hard because of the human girl and hadn't even realized it. While one of the triplets began working her way up my c**k, another climbed the bed and took off her clothes before pressing her bare breasts on my back, licking my neck as she did. The third one just took off her skirt and began f*****g herself at the sight of her sisters on me. I watched her moan and lick her own c*m for almost an hour but didn't get the slightest urge to touch her. I closed my eyes and tried to enjoy the first sister sucking my c**k. She was good- she took me all in and used her hands perfectly. I got harder and took the lead. Slapping her hands off me, I grabbed her hand and pushed her face further into my shaft. She whimpered in pain but I didn't stop. "f**k," I cussed as I continued to push her face back and forth. I finally reached climax and pulled out of her mouth, pouring the c*m all over her face. Normally, this should have been enough to put me at ease. Still closing my eyes, I forced myself to live in this moment. I forced myself to forget the game. I forced myself to forget her. But every time I felt like I had, I remembered her face.....her red hair. My wolf stirred restlessly inside me, making me even more furious. I opened my eyes slowly and for a split second, it wasn't one of the triplets in front of me. It was that damn human. Same blue eyes, same red hair, my c*m splattered all over her f*****g face. "Get out." All the three girls stiffened. "But alpha.....?" "I said get out!" I yelled angrily and they immediately scrambled to their feet and rushed out of the room without another word. Once they were gone, I picked the lamp by the bed and threw it across the room. "What the hell is wrong with me?" I ran my hands through my hair. My wolf growled inside my head. Restless. Agitated. Hungry. Not for blood. Not for a fight. For her. "A human will never be my mate." I continued saying those words over and over again. However, no matter how many times I said it, her face refused to leave my mind. For the first time since the Crystal ball celebration, I felt like I was losing control and it had everything to do with one human.
