Baroness Ruth moved one and half times faster than the theoretical maximum for a human speed directly at Hix. She slammed Hix to the almond tree. She snarled at him and then moved faster than Hix’s eyes could see. She grabbed him, held him to the almond tree, and sank her fangs into his chest aiming for the aorta, which carries blood out of the heart and is the largest blood vessel of all, up to 1 inch in diameter just as the humans.
Seeing this Gret was enraged and blasted the Baroness with a flick of a finger. With a flick of his fingers, Gret blasted Ruth to the almond tree with a blue beam of a fireball. He quickly rushed to check on Hix but he was late. Before he could get to Hix, he has breathed his last. "You did this!" he swirled casting his gaze at Ruth.
