As the tall muscular man was about to toss John into his dungeon, a voice called out. "Zeus!" Swiftly he turned still suspending John above the ground. "Now is not the time, Ares?" Ares is the god of war, as well as violence, revenge, vengeance, bloodshed, and bloodlust. His hunger for war made Zeus send him to the forefront of the battle that has been going on between the gods and the warlocks. Zeus is the god of honor, justice, lightning, the weather, and the skies. He is the lord of Olympus and the son of the Titans, Kronos, and Rhea. Most of the gods reverence him as their king whereas some detest him because of how he came to power. The warlocks have been waging war against the gods for ages. The war was triggered when the gods left the sky to come and make their dwelling amongst humans. The warlocks being jealous of the powers of the gods and the maltreatment of the gods to the humans, united their powers together to fight and send the gods back to the sky. Ares as the god of war was always at the forefront to defend the cause of the gods. Ares approached Zeus and then turn to observe the human who is now lying next to the entrance of the dungeon. "This is not time to play with your toys. The warlocks are advancing against us and we need to restrategize before they breach through our line of defense." "This human was found trespassing and he must pay with his life." As Zeus was about dragging John up to his feet, Ares held Zeus' hands. He glared at him, "You have been respected by most of us because you have shown the warlocks you are in charge. The moment the warlocks breach our line of defense, many gods will lose their respect for you and if possible, desert you. The human have no place to go, we have to face what's before us." Immediately Zeus and Ares left, John quickly dragged himself to his feet. He tiptoed to the wooden entrance door of the dungeon and then lean by the edge of it. He paid close attention to what was going on outside and all he could hear was footsteps as if they are running helter-skelter. Suddenly a thick red smoke appeared next to the iron door of the main dungeon. Out of the smoke walked out two creatures in a hooded black robe. On seeing them both, John fell down as though dead. The two hooded creatures walked up to him as one of the creatures place its hand on John who was lying on the ground as though he was dead. Within a twinkling of an eye, they vanished from the dungeon with John. Appearing in a rocky road that leads to the woods, they laid John on the ground making him lean on the rock. "Is he dead?" asked one of the creatures. "If he's dead, the warlock lord will be unpleased with us." John was acting up. He believed when he acts dead that he will be left alone. The two creatures were right beside him trying to revive him. One of the creatures bent down and brought his face closer to John's face revealing his red-looking pale face. John screamed and pushed the creature away. His face was terrifying as it also appears monstrous. Jumping to his feet, he quickly grabbed a branch of a tree lying next to the rock. Waving the branch of wood at the creatures' faces, he cried out, "Don't ever come close to me or you get a beat down." "We are not here to harm you. The warlock lord sent us to get you." "I don't know what you are talking about, just don't come any close," said John as he continued waving the tree branch at them and threatens them with it. Unable to calm John down, one of the creatures snapped its fingers, and immediately, John froze and was unable to move. "What have you done to me," he let out a loud cry. He can still speak but he can't move. The creature just pinned him to the ground and as well causing his hands and other body parts not to move. It seems like magic but John couldn't make any sense of it. He cried out the more but the other creature said to him calmly, "You scream a lot. Don't get us killed trying to get you to the warlock lord." "Just let me go and I will scream no more." Snapping its fingers again, the creature freed John from his spell. 'Who are you, people?" John asked as he slowly let down the tree branch. "We are not people. We are warlocks." replied one of the creatures. "I'm not sure I know what that means. What the hell is a warlock?" "You speak strangely," said the first creature. He has never heard the phrase 'what the hell.' They are just hearing it for the first time. To them, John wasn't making any sense with the way he speaks. They just stared at each other but John breaks the silence. "Can anyone tell me where the hell I am?" Walking closer to John, the first creature removed the hood as he fixed his eyes on John, "Are you trying to find out where you are?" "Yes, that's what I have been asking." "In that case, you are in no man's land." "What the hell is no man's land? Is it a country or what?" "We need to go now, you will find out everything from the warlock lord. Perhaps he will be in the right place to explain to you." "You know what? My ass is going nowhere until I get answers." John walked back to the rock and sat down crossing his legs. "There is no time for this. We need to go now!" yelled the second creature as he angrily approaches John.
