"So, we were dancing–as supposed.and then…"
Mia loudly gasped. "He kissed you!" She added her finger with the statement at her.
I gasped, too. But before I could speak or threaten his d**k, Bree spoke up. " No, he didn't. Well, maybe we'd have if that couple hadn't tripped into us." Bree said shame dripping from her downcast eyes, playing with her index fingers.
The silence was momentary.
"And… why are you ignoring him, then?" I asked tentatively peering at her.
"Isn't that obvious? It is awkward for me." She shrugged. We hummed.
"I think you should talk to him," Mia said tapping her chin in thought. "The poor boy's feeling must have been hurt." She tutted.
We both raised our eyebrows at that. "Feelings? Or his cocky f**k boy self?" I asked grabbing my favorite pink teddy bear, Ben, and laying my head on his lap.
"No. His feelings." She wiggled her eyebrows.
Bree leaned forward. "what do you mean?"
"You never noticed, did you?" Mia smirked. "Since the day you joined St. George, he's been hitting on you. And let me tell you, he never tries that hard for any girl, but he tried for a long time, for you. But, one day he just stopped. Maybe, he got the memo that you're not going to fall into his trap but, still the teasing and flirting never stopped. Even though they aren't ever reciprocated."
I smiled proudly. Bree will never fall for him. She doesn't need assholes like him in her life. f**k boys are not her thing.
"You're saying that he… he really has feelings for me?" Bree timidly asked tracing the patterns on my bedsheets.
I saw red.
"Bree? Do you have that feeling thing for him?"
"No, Fee." She groaned. "I just wanted to know." She said rolling her eyes at me.
Phew.
"Well, we don't know for sure but, we think he has." Mia chimed. My eyebrows furrowed.
"And who are we?" I asked.
"Me, Matt and Chase. And Chase is his best friend so, we can't ignore his observations." She shrugged. "Guys, I have a plan." She added snapping her fingers.
"And what's that?" Bree's eyes narrowed into slits. The evil glint in Mia's eyes and the warning expression Bree possessed, gave me the idea that both the girls were thinking the same thing.
"We should do something to see if he still likes you and if he does, then we would totally make another plan and you both will end up as girlfriend-boyfriend." She exclaimed clapping happily.
"We're not doing s**t!" There is no way in hell I would play Cupid for his annoying ass. "And why should we? If he doesn't have the balls to admit himself, I think we should let him rot wherever he wishes."
The girls did not look convinced with my opinion. "I mean, there isn't any harm in trying and…" Bree was hesitant, almost terrified, but said, nonetheless.
"Do whatever you want but, don't you dare think including me in this. I would like to keep my sanity intact." I finalized crossing my arms.
"Don't worry, guys. Why fear, when Mia is here? The best matchmaker of the decade is here to help your case, Miss Bree." She took her hand in hers and shook so violently, I thought it might just rip off.
A perfect match for your hugs, Bree.

The floor beneath us trembled from the loud music blasting from the DJ, vibrating my body, softly. Neon pink, green, red and blue light were dancing on everyone's faces in the mild dark around me, setting the vibe.
Our group was sprawled upon the honey yellow couch–which looked grey as of now– with red solo cups in each of our hands filled with different alcohol beverages.
Mia and Bree were hanging off both of my arms giggling like mad women. Matt was in the corner of the living room we were in, playing and impressively winning a game of beer pong.
I got to know that Matt was actually the life of any party he sets foot in. The minute we came here, he was dragged away to entertain the drunk teenagers and drink himself.
Chase was sitting beside Mia on the armrest of the couch and Ashton was on the other side of Bree, much to my dismay and disbelief.
I never thought it would be possible for him to keep his hands to himself and stick to one place, at a party, instead of shoving his tongue down a person's throat with a pair of boobs.
But I also never thought that I, Fiona Rosa Marriott, will ever be seen alive in a highschool party sitting among obnoxiously loud and drunk teens. Not that I came willingly.
I was literally dragged out of my house by two certain adamant bitches.
I was contently eating Doritos and streaming Netflix on my bed when the two came barging in and started picking and poking at my face, calling it make up. I was forced into a skirt, a crop top and a jacket and practically kidn*pped via Mia's SUV.
In all my high school years till now, I never went to parties. They were just not my scene. The most glaringly prominent reason being boys. Or worse, drunk boys.
Hormonal boys being annoyingly desperate to get into a girl's pants, being vulgarly crude after downing bottles of alcohol and trying to bother me was a combination for a roundhouse kick which I always tried to avoid.
Hence, why I am trying to get drunk off my ass: To get distracted. My alcohol tolerance is not so very good so, three drinks: I'm tipsy. Five drinks: I'm jiggly and seven drinks: I'm officially drunk.
In my lap, it's my fourth.
"C'mon fuckers! It's my jam! To the dance floor, we go!" Matt came screaming in my ears and started to push everyone to make them move faster. As a result, we got a cursing Mia on the floor.
Reluctantly, I stood up, too. If I'm here, I should just try to enjoy and if someone messes with me, I can blame it on the alcohol. No consequences.
So, for the sake of my friends I gulped down the drink in my hand in one go.
Us girls danced like crazy. Mia and Bree, both were screaming the lyrics on top of their lungs while I joined here and there.
Fuck knows, I don't remember a line of any song.
Ashton and Matt were showing some dance moves–which I would have called amazing if they hadn't added sloppy twerks every five f*****g seconds. I could see Chase laughing at the boys and joining with them every once, and I have to admit he's got some nice moves.
I cheered him on and saw the faint redness of his cheeks in the dim light. God, did I make him blush?
After a few minutes my bladder called for a break so I informed the girls and took off to find a bathroom. It was on the second floor down the hallway. I did my business and was going downstairs when a body stumbled into me and I looked up to a see boy drunkenly smiling at me.
And even in the darkness I could recognize that creepy ass smile without a doubt.
Fucking Jayden.
