    ''Malice, you were quiet during all of that. It's highly unusual.'' I said turning to the second best mage in our group.

    ''I figured I shouldn't say it in front of them. But that girls magical wavelength feels familiar.'' she replied.

    ''She is the daughter of Fury, so it would make sense.'' Misery said.

    ''No. The other one. She gives off the same wavelength as Umbra.'' Malice stated. ''Fury's daughter's wavelength is very, very weak. Like something is constantly absorbing her magic as she naturally recovers it. Both are strange phenomena that I can't explain yet.''

    ''Franky, too, has not noticed anything out of the ordinary.'' Levi said closing his laptop. '' Aside from the beta girls souls calling out to him'' He stood up and walked out of the room.

    ''Something strange is going on, I think we should consult the informants. Have them gather every piece of data on the both of them.'' Ava looked at me and said. ''Especially the beta girl. There is an ancient scent hanging around her.'' Then she left, followed by Malice, leaving Misery and I alone.

    Misery turned to me, placed her hand on my cheek and looked deep into my eyes. ''You know you can talk to me about anything.''

    ''I know, love.''

    ''I know you're having the dreams again. And I know I don't fully understand like Umbra could. But I'm always here for you.''

    ''I know.'' I pulled her towards and kissed her.

    Today had been exhausting. After the chat with the Sin's this morning, Franky, Jules and I went to our classes like normal. And now we just had one class left, Shadow's. We showed up and had just taken seats at the front of the class when the bell rang. Shadow showed up about five minutes afterwards.

    ''Okay, assholes, I had a long night last night talking to Lucinda about some issues with one of her packs and don't remember where I left off yesterday. So just study amongst yourselves today.'' he said sitting at the desk at the front of the room. A couple minutes later there was a knock at the door. ''Come in.'' Shadow called. A tanned man walked in dragging a young boy behind him. When I saw the man I instantly became wet and couldn't think straight. Shadow looked at the man that just walked in, ''Oh, it's just you.''

    ''Yes. Olivia and I were just on our way over here to tell you-'' the man spoke with a thick accent that made me nearly c*m.

    ''Olivia is with you?'' Shadow asked excitedly.

    The man sighed, ''Yes, my sister is with me.'' Then an equally tanned woman walked into the room nervously. In the blink of an eye Shadow stood in front of her, holding her hand to his lips and gently caressing the side of her face. The man's eyes darkened in anger and it looked like he was about to hit Shadow before regaining his composure.

    ''Shadow, I must kindly ask you that you unhand my sister. She doesn't wish for the touch of a lover.'' he spoke sweetly. ''Especially not from you.''

     ''You wound me Alex.'' Shadow said feigning hurt. ''But, even you must admit that we would make a very lovely couple. And besides,'' He twirled her around pressing her back to his chest and facing the man called Alex. ''I know how she truly feels about me.'' He put his face close to her neck and inhaled deeply. ''I can smell it.'' he said quietly enough for those close enough to hear, causing the woman's face to turn red in embarrassment.

    ''Shadow, I'm war-'' Alex began.

    ''Yes, you're right. this is not the time to teach your sister the ecstasy of pleasure. There's far to many children in this class room.'' Shadow smiled. Alex, meanwhile, looked like he was going to explode in anger. ''Tsk, tsk, Alex, you should really practice more... patience.'' He smirked.

    Alex composed himself once more before saying, ''Shadow, we have come to inform you-''

    That the Royal Council is calling a meeting between the teams to discuss the next movements. Yes I know.'' Shadow said, cutting him off. ''Til later, mi amour.'' Then he let her go like nothing happened and sat back down. Alex and Olivia left without saying another word.

    I hung back a bit after class ended to talk to Shadow.

    ''Hey, who were those two that came in earlier?'' I asked.

    ''Virtues of Patience and Chastity, Alex and Olivia de Losanta, twins, incubus and succubus. Olivia really is in love with me, she confessed to me before she joined the Virtues as Chastity. I mean I kinda feel bad about rejecting her at the time, but she was fifteen years old and Ava had just been born. I got to applaud her though, it took everything she had to even be able to talk to me. She was never really that great at speaking to men, besides her brother. Anything else you want to know? Because I'm sure you have homework to work on and I have a meeting to get to.'' I left and went back to my room to work on my homework with Franky and Juliette.
