    ''The contract I spoke of was a deal made between Fury and your father to conceive and train the replacement of the Sin of Gluttony. You.'' The three sat there trying to digest the information I just dropped on them. ''Whether your father knew about it the whole time or not is irrelevant. But in the the end he did hold up his end of the agreement.''

    ''But why did he have to die?'' Jen asked.

    ''It was a stipulation in the contract. If Fury failed in her duty to bring you into the Sins, we, meaning Misery and I, were to kill your father and bring you in to complete your witch training to join the Sins.'' I replied. ''Jen, you were recruited to join the Sins before you were even conceived. Which is really the only way to become a Sin now. Because honestly you'd have to have done something worse than we did to join, and that's basically impossible at this point.'' I sat back and took a sip of tea. I watched Jen's face as she took everything in.

    ''So why are we here?'' Juliette asked.

    ''Well aside from Fury's place among the Sins, we are still short one after Umbra was slain.'' Misery answered. ''And after having observed you two for the last couple months we wanted one of you two to take her place.''

    ''Oh. So which one of us do you want?'' Juliette asked.

    ''That depends on who can handle the rigorous training.'' I answered.

    ''There is still one thing I need to discuss with you, Shadow.'' Jen said. I sighed, ''We're mates, and I think we need to discuss this.'' She continued.

    ''I hate that term. You shifters make the bond sound so sexual.'' I said. ''But no, we are not.''

    ''No, Rose told me we are mates.'' she said.

    ''Alright, look, first off what you call 'mates','' I began. ''Is more of a soul bond. When two, or more, souls resonate and connect with each other, it creates a bond. Allowing the bonded to be able to talk without words and see through the others senses. It's no more s****l than a mother breastfeeding a child. Just ask your friends, they're soul bound. And yet you wouldn't even know, aside from their knowing glances towards each other. Secondly, and this goes into my title as a Sin, I'm the Sin of Lust. I naturally cause a lot of unbound souls to resonate with mine.''

    ''So we're not mates?'' she asked dejectedly.

    ''No. Ask Rose, she and I once hooked up hundreds of years ago when I pretended to be her mate to get to her dad.'' I watched her wolf push to the surface of her consciousness. ''Hello Rose, it's been a while.''

    ''Shadow,'' she purred. ''I must admit I'm still a little upset with you. Toying with a maidens heart like you did. Tsk, tsk, I should punish you like I used to back in the day.''

    ''Well, Rose, if I can convince Jen to join us then there may be some chances to do jus that. But you're going to have to give back control.'' I said. She huffed and gave control back to Jen. ''Now then, before we can continue our discussion you three must decide, are you willing to join the Agency or would you rather go back to your life as before?''

    ''We get a choice?'' Juliette asked.

    ''You've always had a choice. You all made the choice to come here didn't you?'' I said. ''And you chose to come to a place you knew nothing about, all based on info given to you from someone you didn't know. So decide. Join the Agency, become a Sin, or go back to your life blissfully unaware of anything outside of it.''

    Jenny

    Having already made up my mind, I looked at Franky and Juliette.

    ''I mean what's the alternative?'' Franky asked.

    ''Death.'' Misery said putting down her drink.

    ''Then I guess we're all in.'' I replied.

    ''Good.'' Shadow said. ''Now before we give you the tour and get you settled in, there are some things you need to know. Firstly, outside of the royal families, the council and the Virtues, the Seven Sins don't exist. To the rest of the supernatural world we're nothing more than a scary story parents tell their unruly kids to get them to behave. Secondly, everyone here has done something to end up in the care of the Agency, they may be kids but they are criminals to some degree. So be careful with who you talk to and what information you give out. And third, outside of the work we do as the Seven Sins, we teach here and as such we will be treated as teachers. Understood?'' We nodded. ''Good. Let's show you to your room.''

    Shadow and Misery stood up and walked over to a door. We followed. When we stepped through the door it was like we walked into a college dorm. There were people of all ages, genders and race running around having fun. When they caught sight of us they stopped and stood aside to let us pass. Some of the rooms had their door open, so as we passed by them in the hallway I looked inside a couple of them. I saw what looked like small apartments, and quite a few teens making out couches.

    ''You need to understand,'' Shadow was saying. ''Only a handful of the students joined the Agency willingly. The rest were forced to be here because they can't stay out of trouble or they can't control their powers.'' Then he stopped in front of a door. ''This is your three's room. There's clothes and food for you. Along with your individual schedules and required books. We're not your parents so do whatever you want, as long as you show up for class. And before we leave you to get settled, come to room five-one-six before class tomorrow.'' Then they turned and walked away.

    We went into the room and it was a small four bedroom apartment.

    ''I guess this is where we live for the time being.'' Franky said before plopping down on the couch.

    ''I'm mad at the both of you.'' I stated. ''For Goddess' sake you two were mates and didn't tell me. What the hell!''

    ''You act like we're in love with each other and go around behind your back to have s*x with each other.'' Juliette said.

    ''Yeah. It's like Shadow said. We have a bond together that just kinda links us.'' Franky agreed. ''There's nothing s****l between us. I still like men.''

    ''There's nothing s****l between you?'' I asked skeptically. ''Except the night of my birthday when you two had a threesome with Shadow.'' They chuckled uncomfortably.

    ''I mean you're no better. You wanted to jump him and ride his d**k when you saw him in the hot spring.'' Juliette responded. ''I can't speak for Misery or Franky, but I could smell your arousal. And I know he could too.''

    My face turned red. ''Sh-shut up. It wasn't my fault. It was Rose waking up and lusting after him.'' I shouted. ''Anyways we should get some rest before our new school tomorrow.'' I walked  into one of the rooms slamming the door and burying my face in a pillow.
