SCARLET’S POV
“No, we would not accept that, Chamlu” a voice thundered, causing everyone to tremble.
I looked at where the voice had come from, and I saw Chamlee standing, and then he started coming towards me.
“Grrrrrrr…” Stake growled from within me.
The hall shook and everyone was terrified and they tried to maintain their balance. Those that could not stop themselves from falling quickly got up as soon as they landed on the floor.
Even with my fearsome growl, Chamlee was not deterred. He maintained his balance and moved towards me nevertheless.
“You are our queen, and only you can be wronged. Whatever you do or say is fair” he roared.
He grabbed the sword from one of the warriors and pushed it into my right hand.
