SCARLET’S POV
I looked at her as she drank the water. I felt a little bit guilty for allowing Lara to lure me into not trusting her.
Okay, I am never going to trust her even if it is left just for me, but then why would I even think that she might try to get to me with water in my house? Who the hell poisons drinking water?
The fact that I have even haboured such an idea made me ashamed of myself. I have given every other person a chance but her. But no matter how hard I tried, it doesn’t feel right with her. But today is going to be different, I will take her as the others even if it is for just today.
“You mentioned that you are sick, my luna,” she said.
“Yes. But it is not too serious. I should be better by tomorrow” I replied.
I started with having a slight headache this morning
