SCARLET’S POV
I stared at my father with worries written all over my face. Why would he ask to see me in his chambers? He had never asked to see me before and I have never entered his chambers. Today is the first time I would be stepping feet into his chambers and it made me uneasy.
When I entered I was visibly trembling and even now, my feet cannot carry me as I looked at the strange man that was standing a few meters away from me.
When the omega came to inform me of my father’s request, I had thought that he was mistaken and that the message was meant for my sister, Dawn, instead. And even when I got close to the door of the chambers I had hesitated to come in. I remain at the door until I was sure that my father had noticed my presence and did not react negatively to it.
