I don’t know what I would do now. It is not as if I am not happy that alpha Ray had volunteered to train me personally, but then what am I supposed to do?
Now he would have to see just how feeble I am and he would treat me like the rest. It was easier being his friend and seeing and talking to him occasionally without more.
But now that he would require me to learn from him, he is going to finally realize just how un-teachable I am and he is going to hate me.
I did not say a single word to Lara as we made our way back home, and I could see how worried she was seeing me this way. She walked along with me hoping for the best time to start up a conversation.
