SCARLET’S POV
I ran out of the mansion heading to no particular destination and I could not see the objects ahead of me. I was wounded and in pain, my heart was filled with sorrow and I don’t care whatever that was around me.
All I wanted was to run far away from here, far off to a place where all my sorrows would be no more and far away from me. I will run to Rich or to Ray, those who know and care about how I feel deep inside.
I stumbled on an object and was going to fall but stopped almost close to the ground. I remained floating and I closed my eyes not caring what might have led to my floating. Later I opened my eyes and it was then that I came to realize that I had stumbled on Lara, and it was her grip that that was preventing me from falling.
