SCARLET’S POV
We all kept our gaze at the door wondering what might be the cause of the chaos coming from outside. The door finally opened and a young man entered. He looked like he had struggled to make his way inside.
“Is that alpha Jake?” I whispered to Lara.
“That can’t be so,” she said. “There is no way he would come in this way, alone”
She was right. There was no way an alpha, especially one as proud as alpha Jake would make an appearance this way without at least three escorts accompanying him.
“Please where is beta Tim?” the young said to Sam.
Sam stared at the young man for some time before finally pointing in the direction of our father. The young man left Sam and walked over to our father.
“Hello sir, I have a message for you from alpha Jake” the young man told my father.
