“Scarlet”
I was lying down on my bed and I had my back against the wall when I heard my name being called. And since no one had entered the room and it was just Lara and me that was in the room I presumed that the call must be from her. She was assisting me to tidy up things in my room and so I figured she wanted my clarification on something.
It was already late and she was supposed to have left my room but I had requested that she stay a little longer amidst her protest of not wanting to go against the alpha’s command.
If she goes, this would be the first night that I would be staying alone and I don’t think I was prepared for that just yet even though this would be my second night in my new home. The alpha does not sleep here with me, why then is he so concerned about
