  Ravenna's POV   I stood still as the maids tugged and pinned, their hands quick and certain while I felt anything but steady. The gown was a shade of soft blue—light as breath—yet heavy with a kind of elegance I had never carried before.   The fabric shimmered faintly, catching the candlelight like ripples on water. They twisted my hair into something elaborate—smooth and pinned—nothing like the wild waves I usually ignored. Perfume clung to my skin, and the brush of powder left my face feeling strange and unfamiliar.
