Meanwhile Bob and Nancy kept looking for Hope.
"It has been 4 days and still we don't know nothing about Hope I wonder where my poor child is." whimpered Bob.
"Dad you haven't ate anything please eat something."Said Nancy.
"How could I eat something when I don't even know how is my kiddo I don't know whether she is fine whether she is alive or dead I don't know anything."Said Bob. He broke down and sobbed like a child.
"D...dead who is dead and where is Hope."Said Mary who was standing in the door.
Bob got up on his knees and said, "Mary what are you doing here."
"I just got a phone call from the manager and she said that the competition had been postponed due to weather conditions and it would be rescheduled after four months. So I thought to come and meet Hope and when I called you you seemed troubled so I came here to check.....Bob is everything alright where is Hope."Said Mary
"I don't know where she is. I don't know..."Bob cried
"What do you mean you don't know is someone gonna tell me what is happening Nancy."Said Mary.
Nancy told her everything.
"Oh my God my poor child"said Mary and she fell on the ground.
"Mary ...Mary please we shouldn't loose hope I promise we will find her please calm down."Said Bob.
Bob checked his phone which was ringing.
"It's from the police station."he said and turned the phone on speaker.
"Hello"Said the officer
"Yes officer ,it's me Bob..Bob Barnard."he said
"From great regret we have to say that we have found a dead body of a girl her face is badly hurt so we can't recognise her so you have to come to the police station."
"Yes officer" he said and ended the call.
"D...dead body."Said Mary.
"Calm down Mary I know it's not my Hope."he said
"I want to go to please."Mary Said
"No you have to stay Nancy please take her to the room"he said and left for the police station.
When he reached the police station his whole body was trembling with fear.
"Officer ..Officer" he murmured.
"Oh Yes Bob come this way."Said the Officer.
Bob followed officer's. Finally they reached the morgue.
"This is the dead body"said the officer while pointing towards the body which was in the coffin.
Bob removed the cloth covering the dead body.
"It's not my Hope, it's...it's n.n.not my Hope."he said and took sigh of relief. He immediately got out of the police station and called Mary so he could tell her about the good news.
