Next morning Louis went for a morning walk. He called Edith to check when she was gonna return. After 1 hour he came back home and thought to check on Hope. He walked towards her room. He sat beside her and gently patted on her shoulder.
"Hope wake up. It's 12:00pm. I know what I did was wrong I am sorry for that. Hope come on wake up. Now you are worrying me."he said and patted on her shoulder agin but still no answer. He placed his hand on her forehead. She was very cold. He called his personal doctor.
"Hello doctor Joaquin"he said.
"Yes"the doctor said.
"Um I am Louis. Can you come home"he said.
"I am afraid I can't sir due to traffic."he said
"Can't you send any other doctor. It's urgent please"he said.
"No we can't take the risk"he said.
"Listen I don't care about myself right now I just wanna know if she is okay or not" he said.
"Wait tell me what exactly it is"he said.
"I don't know. She is cold and probably unconscious"he said and told him everything what happened.
"Okay listen to me very carefully. You have to do all the things I tell you to do until I reach your home. Soak a cloth in cold water and gently place it over her head. Make sure that her other body parts don't get wet." He said.
"Yes doctor"he said. He went downstairs. He filled bowl with cold water.
"Cloth -cloth where the f**k is cloth"he muttered.
"Here you are"he said and went upstairs. He sat beside Hope. He soaked the cloth in cold water and gently placed it over Hope's head.
"Umm-mm" she cried in pain.
"It's okay it's okay shh everything is gonna be okay"he said. His phone rung. In a hurry he got up and accidentally dropped cold water on Hope.
"f**k!!!!"he said and tried to wipe the water. He rushed towards the cupboard and took out clothes. He closed the curtains so that there would be no light in the room.
"Okay so I am going to this"he said and closed his eyes. He changed her clothes and sat by her side. After few minutes the doctor came. He assisted Hope.
"How is she doing doctor"he said.
"Don't worry she just had fever. Here are some medicine's. She will be fine"he said.
"Thank God"he said.
"Now If you will excuse me I have some more patients to assist"he said.
"Yes please doctor"he said. The doctor left. Louis stayed by her side and waited for her to wake up. After half an hour she woke up.
"What happened" she said.
"Nothing" he said.
She looked here and there and realized that her clothes weren't the same she wore last night.
"My clothes - who changed my clothes"she said.
"I did"he said.
She covered her chest with her arms and said, "How could you do that"
"I had to"he said.
"God what am I going to do now. Why would you."she said.
"Listen I am not interested in your body. I had to do it because I didn't wanted any trouble.Any I closed my eyes while changing your clothes."he said.
"What happened to me. God my head aches. "she said.
"When I came to wake you up this morning you were unconscious. I got scared and called the doctor. He told me to do the stuff when I accidentally dropped cold water on you which I didn't had to. So I had to change your clothes. You just have mild fever."he said.
"Yes thanks to you"she said.
"Wait what. You think all of this is my fault"he said
"Dah"she said.
"Well you are the one who annoyed me in the first place. I think you should learn not to mess with everyone "he said.
"Well I think you should learn to control your temper"she said. He gasped and sat beside her. He placed his hand on her hand and said, "I am sorry for all of this"
"I am sorry too,you are right I should have understand that you were anxious. I am stupid "she said. Her eyes were filled with tears.
"No you are not stupid. I think you are the most amazing person I have ever met. We do mistakes in our lives but that doesn't mean we should just sit and regret for doing them forever"he said.
"Thank you for everything"she said and looked into his eyes. Desire to kiss her burned with in him. He got more closer to her.
"Can I can I ask you something" she said.
"Yeah"he said.
"Last night did you um did you kissed me on forehead"she said.
"What no. It was probably a dream"he said.
"Yeah I think so but it felt so realistic"she said.
"These are just mind games. You need rest"he said and left the room.
