The dining room was now clean. The air was no longer stale. Life and pride had flowed back into Calico’s kingdom, and I was excited to be a part of it. “The castle is looking great. Have the servants moved back in?” I asked as I ate the pastries they placed in front of me. “No,” Nyeer said, shaking his head. “Not yet. They travel each day to us, but I am noticing a growing amount of people gathering each day.” “Then it won’t be long before they want to come back here permanently.
