Days turned into weeks, and Ethan's absence became more pronounced. Aurora tried to reach him, but his phone went straight to voicemail. She sent him messages and emails, but there was only silence.
At first, Aurora thought maybe Ethan was just busy with work or had a family emergency. But as the days turned into weeks, she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong.
She tried to distract herself with work and spending time with friends, but her mind kept wandering back to Ethan. Where was he? And why wasn't he reaching out to her?

Sophia's tone turned serious. "That's not like him. I've been digging into his past, and I think there's more to him than meets the eye."
Aurora's curiosity was piqued. "What do you mean?"
Sophia hesitated before responding. "I think Ethan might be hiding something from you. Something big. And I think his disappearance might be connected to it."
