Chapter 4

{Cree POV} I sat there, watching the three girls taunt Lilly. I didn’t realize they would go so far as to pour paint all over her. It was even a surprise to me. I’m sure my brothers thought the same thing. I only asked Lilly to sit with us due to my mother because I don’t think having this girl here is necessary, but I do it to get my mother's nagging off my back. I stared at my brothers, lifting an eyebrow, they wore shock on their faces. “Did anyone know they were going to do that?” I asked my brother Aziel, he shook his head covering his mouth. Being triplets meant we were able to share a unique bond of communicating telepathically. Also, being able to share it together. “No, I don’t understand why they would pull such a disgusting thing. Then again, we are the same as them, I suppose.” Aziel scoffed. “We will deal with them later.” Lee chimed in, the ever so quiet stoic. As we watched Lilly run away, it was hard not to go after her. The bell rang, signaling the end to our lunch. We stood up from the table heading towards our classrooms. The girls hugged and kissed us goodbye. We stood there in the hallway waiting for the girls to walk away. When they were gone, we stared at each other. “Now let’s go find the little servant girl.” I grinned. We walked out of the school following her scent, which was extremely intoxicating, it was that of freshly rained on Lillies with a hint of mint, fitting. We kept walking and came across a little water fall, noticing a pair of clothes folded on the edge of the water bank. Luckily, we were able to hide behind some trees just before the water bank. Where did she go? As if on cue, water splashed as she flipped her long white hair in the air. My heart was thumping in my chest up to my throat. Why am I feeling like this? There is no way this is happening. As if on cue, my wolf Storm began going nuts. He was prancing around in my head, giving me one hell of a headache. “MATE, MATE, SHE'S OUR MATE!!!!!” My wolf Storm howeled. I glanced over at my brothers, as they were having the same issue. I could practically hear our wolves collectively howel. She was only 17. How was this even possible? How could we not know sooner? She was practically glowing with beauty. It makes me regret all the things we had said to her in the past. It made my stomach clench, she hates us, there is no way she would want any of us as her mate with how badly we have treated her. Just as I was deep in thought, I felt a pair of eyes on us. She turned around and her gorgeous red eyes staring through the trees. “Are You going to keep staring or are you going to explain to me why you are here?” Her voice was so angelic and serene. We all stepped out staring everywhere but her body. “Wewere making sure you were okay.” Lee rubbed the back of his neck “Ireally think you should put your clothes back on…” Aziel turned around huffing “Thatwould be helpful, we didn’t realize they would go so far to do that,” I said, hearing the sound of water splashing “Well,I wouldn’t be in this predicament if your snobbish girlfriends didn’t gift me the work of art.” She said in anger, stomping towards what I am assuming is her clothing. Saving us the much-needed torture. {Lilly’s POV} I came up from the water when an intoxicating smell had hit my nose. It was almost making my brain go fuzzy. It smelled of fresh cinnamon sticks with a hint of fresh apples. I stared around me. Then fixed my sight on the trees I sighed, covering my chest with my arms. Why would they even be here, let alone come and check on me? “Are you going to keep staring or are you going to explain to me why you are here?” I huffed out with anger. “We were making sure you were okay.” Lee rubbed the back of his neck “I really think you should put your clothes back on…” Aziel turned around huffing “That would be helpful, we didn’t realize they would go so far to do that.” Cree said. Still turned away. I got out of the water, stomping towards my clothing and putting them on. “Well, I wouldn’t be in this predicament if your snobbish girlfriends didn’t gift me the work of art.” I grumbled in frustration. I pulled my cardigan sweater over my head as I pulled my leggings on along with my socks and shoes, I pulled my hair up into a messy bun. “It’s okay to look now…” I said, staring at them as they finally turned around. They had the most alluring eyes, they looked almost white. I crossed my arms over my chest waiting for one of them to respond. “Uh, there’s really no easy way to say this, but we are sorry for what happened at lunch today…” Aziel said sincerely. I was shocked. Why would they be apologizing? to me of all people. “Yeah, we really had no idea that the girls would even consider going that far and for that we are sorry…” Lee grumbled, rubbing the back of his neck, looking frustrated “Well, I am just glad that it didn’t stain our little servant girl.” Cree blurted out my face must have been the color of a tomato. I was starting to get pissed. “So, this is okay for them to do right? Treat me like you three have treated me?” I spat out at them angerly. Just as they were about to say something to me, I felt hot. My body felt like it was on fire. I began to shake. Why? What is going on? Am I about to shift? Aoi talk to me here, what is going on? I mentally screamed at her. I collapsed on my knees panting. The three boys surrounded me. Panic and worry spread across their faces. “Hey what is going on with you??” Cree touched my shoulder, just as I was about to reply, a sharp pain shot across my back. I clenched my teeth, falling on the ground on my side. I curled myself into a ball trying to focus on something other than the searing pain shooting through me. “Hey, hey I think she’s about to shift you guys!!” Aziel shouted, and lifted my head into his hands, propping it into his lap. “How though? She’s only 17?!” Cree yelled back, his hands in the air. I could feel the electric touch from Aziel, it felt warm, at home. I felt somewhat better until another pain shot through me, making me scream. “This is no time for arguing, brothers, we need to help her through this.” Lee, being the rational one, stood beside his brothers. “I am here baby, let me take over.” My wolf echoed in my head, “What do I do, Aoi? It hurts, it hurts so much!” I wheezed in searing pain. “Just let me take over.” I did as she said. The next thing I knew was a blur, and I was standing on all fours, staring down at the purple and teal swirls on my what are now my paws. I almost s**t myself just seeing this, I can only imagine what my full image will look like. The triplets looked shocked to see what my wolf looked like. I walked over to the clear river water and stared down at my wolf. My breath caught in my throat, she was stunning, purple and teal dancing in snow-white fur, two different shining eyes, and a mark of a crescent moon stamped on the forehead.
