Chapter 8

{Lee’s POV}

I sat there as Lilly was still shaking. I rubbed her back, trying to ease her anxiety.

“This is all to much. I think I need to lie down for a while. Should I go to a different room?” She asked us, looking a bit uncomfortable.

“No love, this will be your room from now on.” Cree said, sitting on the other side of the bed as she made a sour face.

“Then who will I be sleeping next to? You all have separate beds.” She said, gesturing to the three beds laid out in the room, making us all chuckle in unison.

“Well, lucky for you my dear, we can change that to where all of us will be sleeping together real soon.” Aziel laughed as Cree and I gave him a questioned stare.

“What are you talking about, Aziel?” I asked, making him look at me with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

“We are going to get a giant bed so that we can all sleep together.” He wiggled his eyebrows.

“As long as our mate is okay with that?” I looked back at her as she just laughed.

“Regardless, I am going to take a nap from the events.” She said, getting comfy on Aziels bed.

“That would be a wise idea, then later we should truly consider getting something to eat as it has been a very stressful two days.” I said, getting up to cover our beautiful mate. She smiled in content as she closed her eyes. We watched her as she drifted off to sleep, then I looked up to my brothers.

“Should we talk to mother and father?” Cree finally spoke up. I scrunched my face in irritation.

“Why? So, they can tell us she’s nothing but a servant girl? Or tell us what we are

doing isn’t right?” I spat out angerly. I was tired of tip toeing around our

parents.

“Look, Lee, we need answers, and we can’t just sit around and wait for them to just

magically show up. We need to know what mom and dad know about this situation and

why have they treated Lilly so poorly? Not to mention her abilities, she is not

a normal wolf.” Aziel stood up facing both me and Cree. Theo was getting

restless as he was pacing in my mind.

“Why are you so restless Theo?” I asked he

kept pacing back and forth making me worried.

“She’s special Lee. Our mate is special.

But I worry about what she saw, there’s something that happened but her wolf

cannot tell her yet.” He said whimpering. Okay, now I am even more confused.

What could her wolf be hiding?

“Earth to Lee.” Cree said waving his hand in front of my face snapping me out of my

conversation with Theo. They looked at me with question, sighing, I ran my

hands through my hair.

“My wolf, Theo. He is worried about Lilly…” I said slowly looking up at them.

“He says she is special, her wolf isn’t telling her anything and that he is worried

about what she saw.” I stared at them as I could see worry fill their eyes.

With clenched fists they both let out a breath.

“We are going to talk to mother and father now.” Cree said as we all shook our

heads in agreement.

“Alright. Let’s go.” I sighed walking with them towards the door.

{Cree’s POV}

Just before we had walked out we made sure that a maid kept an eye on her so that if

she needed anything, she could be there in case we were not. We made our way to

our mother and fathers office, opening the big oak doors with a slight creak,

there they both sat with piled documents surrounding both sides of their desks.

Neither one looking away from their work until the boys slammed the doors shut

making them jolt and look away from the papers they were nose deep in.

“My children, how have you been today?” Mother asked giving us that warm motherly

smile. I inhaled as I stepped forward giving both of them a hard stare. I love how

she acts as if she didn’t just insult our mate.

“We have questions we need answered. I hope either one of you can try to provide

some answers?” I said, trying not to get angry with the both of them.

“Oh? And what questions would you like answered, son?” My father said leaning back

into his chair taking his glasses off.

“Lilly.” Lee spoke up, he was on the verge of wanting to destroy the whole pack house.

Both of their attitudes changed making the air thick with tension. Lee is

usually so calm but to see him about to wolf out was a serious change. It was almost

scary.

“What about the servant girl?” My mother spat sitting straight in her chair, I stepped

in front of Lee so he wouldn’t start anything that would prevent us from getting

answers.

“She is not a servant girl, Mother.” I spat back at her making her eyes go wide.

“Watch how you talk to your mother!” My father shouted. He stood up from his chair slamming

his palm on his desk.

“I want to know, why you chose Lilly to come here and be a servant in the first

place?” I said through gritted teeth. I was seething in anger at this point as

my heart was pumping erratically and my breathing becoming shorter.

“Simple. She is my god daughter. That’s it.” My mother smiled but it did not reach her

eyes.

“There has to be more…you do not treat your god daughter like s**t!” Lee said pushing

me aside, he wanted answers. Aziel scowled.

“She’s our mate Mother.” Aziel finally said with his arms crossed leaning against the

wall. I completely forgot he was still in the office. He hasn’t said anything

since we entered. Our mother just sat there with her eyes wide from shock.

“No. No. No She is not!” She stood up slamming her palms on her desk glaring at us

with her finger pointed.

“Why do you disdain the thought mother?!” Aziel growled out his wolf was starting to

take control.

“SHE WILL NOT BE MATED TO ANY OF YOU!!” Our mother screamed leaving me speechless.

Why is she so upset, I thought she would be happy about the thought.

“WHAT IS SO WRONG WITH IT?!” Lee shouted back punching a hole in the wall. He was

panting from anger. I was left frozen, I was trying to understand if any of

this was real.

“ENOUGH!” Our father’s voice boomed using his Alpha tone, we did not bend to his will, we

were also Alpha males. That did not mean we didn’t feel the power of it though.

“Marie, We have to at least tell them.” My father said sitting back down in his chair

sighing, my mother still seething with rage but she relunctly sank into the

chair rubbing her forehead.

“No. They will never know.” She growled out, she stood up walking out the doors.

“Where are you going?!” Aziel said through gritted teeth. Grabbing ahold of her arm.

She yanked it away from his grasp.

“That is none of your business!” Mother walked out slamming the door.

“Marie!!” My father shouted running after her.

“Well, That went to shit.” Lee said running a frustrated hand through his hair. We all

sighed in defeat as we headed back to

our room to check on Lilly. She sat on the bed scrolling through her phone, she

tensed as soon as we walked in the doors.

“Are you guys okay?” She asked tilting her head in confusion. Her voice was so

soothing and gentle I could listen to it for hours. We all sat around her.

“We are now princess.” Lee said giving her a hug. Both me and Aziel did the same.

{Lilly POV}

I was scrolling through my phone when the sweet scent of apples and cinnamon hit

my nose. I froze as the door opened, looking at the boys as they looked

defeated. It made my heart ache.

“Are you guys okay?” I asked gently seeing their confused faces. Lee came over to me

making me relax at his touch as he wrapped his large arms around my waist

inhaling my scent.

“We are now princess.” He sighed nuzzling his face into my neck. The other two did

the same making my stomach ignite with a fire that I didn’t know was there. My

heart was thumping loudly. I closed my legs together as I was feeling more

aroused by them hugging me. My face flushed as I heard one of them chuckle a

low sexy chuckle.

“There’s no sense in hiding it love.” Cree chuckled trailing his hand down my neck.

“I’m not.” I said defiantly.

“Seems like our mate needs some attention.” Lee smiled running his hands down my waist

sending goosebumps all over my skin. I shivered at their touch being swept away

in the moment.

“Mmm you smell divine.” Aziel whispered in my ear making me sink even further into

temptation. The mate bond seemed to be growing much stronger than I had anticipated.

I managed to resist their temptations and gently pushed on Lee’s chest staring

up at him.

“This is nice and all, but it’s way to fast and I am really hungry.” I smiled placing a hand on my stomach. They laughed a hearty laugh.

“Alright, our flower needs substance.” Aziel was still laughing holding his hand out towards me which I gladly took. I am going to try to trust them, I will let them know soon that I am willing to fall into this mate bond and put my trust into them with my whole heart and soul. Aoi nodded in agreement wagging her tail which in return had me grinning.
