Chapter 6

{Aziel’s POV}

Just as I was about to help Lee with this rogue, I saw Lilly collapse and I ended up catching her before she hit the ground. I stared up at my brothers as if they had the same feeling. The question was, who was after her and why.

“What does that f***** mean, master is waiting for her?” Cree asked, running a frustrated hand through his hair as Lee just crossed his arms deep in thought. I shook my head, not really understanding. Lee had already disposed of the rogue and mind linked our parents of the situation.

“I’m not really sure. All I know is that Lilly is gifted, I mean that is the only thing that makes sense, why else would they want her, have you seen her wolf? If you think back to her wolfs fur, it’s not a natural color that screams normal.” I said picking Lilly up bridal style walking back to the pack house.

“We can’t let what that guy said go unnoticed. We also can’t let go of the fact that he also was able to cross our borders into our pack lands unnoticed as well.” Lee grunted as he walked with me and Cree back towards the pack house. We all nodded in agreement. We needed to figure out what exactly was happening and put a stop to it.

“First let’s get Lilly dressed and get a doctor to make sure that bastard didn’t do anything bad to our mate.” I growled out, sickened by the fact that bastard put his filthy hands on the one thing that made us live and breathe.

We made our way back to the pack house, entering the front door. I hollered to one of the servants, I asked for one not twelve, but it would do.

“Bring Doctor Cathy into our room immediately!” I barked out orders as she bowed, rushing off. Just as we were about to head up to our room, our mother was walking past, eyeing us when her eyes went wide, seeing me with an unconscious Lilly in our arms.

“What on earth happened to her?! Why is she not dressed?!! And why are you carrying her?!” She screeched angerly as if she wasn’t worried about her. I gave her a cold glare.

“She was attacked mother.” I forced out through clenched teeth. Her eyes went from wide with anger to stone-cold.

“I see. Take her back to her quarters. I will send a doctor for her.” She huffed out waving her hands, My eyes widened in shock at how dismissive she was towards her. I shook my head, heading up to our room.

“No, mother. I have already contacted Doctor Cathy, she is on her way to our room as we speak.” I said, matter of fact. She did not like that one bit. She gave me a hard stare before turning on her heals walking away.

“She is just a servant girl, I hope you don’t get involved with the likes of her.” She spat out as she kept walking.

I didn’t like what she had just said. I handed Lilly to Lee as I strutted towards our mother with a menacing stare.

“I don’t give a s**t if you call her a servant girl, I can ignore that. What I will not ignore is the sickening fact that she was just attacked and almost r***d by a rogue. You should give a damn, you were the one that brought her into this house and just treated her like s**t, then expect us to keep doing the same thing. I don’t know what you think you are doing by treating her like this, but I will not stand for it.” My voice dripped with venom and I had meant every word. I glared at our mother.

“You will not talk to your mother that way! I don’t understand what is so special about that girl, anyways. True I may have saved her, but that does not mean I have to tolerate her indecency!” She threw her hands up in the air screaming in my face. I turned on my heels as I walked away, leaving her to her tantrum.

“Consider this a warning, mother.” I said as I took Lilly back from Lee and headed up to our room. I opened the bedroom door, placed her down on my bed, making sure she was comfortable. She looked like she was having a nightmare. I sat next to the bedside brushing the strands of hair out of her face waiting for the doctor, when I heard the door open, my brothers were walking in with doctor Cathy. I stood up as she bowed towards me, then made her way next to Lilly.

“Alphas, may I begin examining her?” She asked, looking at us making sure she had permission to begin healing Lilly. I nodded towards her as she began to examine Lilly, making sure there was nothing wrong with her. We watched as the doctor began to examine Lilly, making sure that bastard didn’t hurt her anywhere. I clenched my hands thinking about that sick f**k. Snapping back to reality, the doctor placed the blankets back over Lilly.

“Well, her vitals are perfect, she doesn’t have any gashes or blood anywhere and, from the looks of it, she only has a small scratch from where the rogue had ripped her jeans. She’s a lucky one. She will be okay.” Doctor Cathy bowed her head, I nodded at her, sighing in relief, as did my brothers. Running a hand through my hair, I turned to look at my brothers.

“She has been through a lot tonight, we should let her rest. Maybe our mother has some information about what happened tonight. From her attitude, it seems she could be hiding something from us that we don’t know about.” I said as Lee sat on the bed while Cree folded his arms over his chest, leaning against the wall.

“We are no better, Aziel. We have also contributed in making her life quite difficult. I just hope she accepts us as her mates.” Lee said while grabbing ahold of Lilly’s hand, looking upset.

“I just don’t understand what those rogues want with her. Who their master is and why is she special.” Cree sighed in frustration. He stared out the window frowning.

“We all want answers, brother. We will not get them right away, all we can do is let her rest for now and come up with a plan to figure this situation out.” I said, standing up staring at my brothers.

“So, who is going to stay with her tonight?” Lee asked, staring at me and Cree.

“I will keep an eye on her. We all share this room, it is big enough, so I will make sure she is taken care of.” I said. They nodded at me as they got up to get into their bed. I went to my closet and changed into a pair of sweats, then made my way to my bed where my beautiful mate lay sleeping. I slipped into bed as I shut my eyes, letting sleep overtake me.

{Lilly’s POV}

I slowly opened my eyes, feeling something heavy around my waist. I looked to my side and my eyes went wide. I gasped, pulling away from him. He opened his eyes, smiling at me.

“It’s okay…I’m not going to hurt you, it’s just me.” He said sleepily, wrapping his large arms around my waist. I froze at the sudden gesture. I was trying to figure out where I was and why I was in their bed.

“Just give me five more minutes, it is still early.” He said softly as he pulled my body into his. I didn’t know what to do as I laid there giving up.

“I should not be here. What happened to me? Why am I in your bed?” I asked, trying to get out of his grasp. Aziel sighed, sitting up.

“You are not a servant anymore. You are to not do anymore house work from here on out.” He said matter of fact. My eyes widen. Did he just tell me I am not to continue my cleaning duties? Luna will not agree to that.

“Then what am I supposed to do? The Luna will not like any of this.” I asked staring back into those endless snow like eyes.

“I’m sure you have already realized that you are our mate, our mother does not have any say in what the moon goddess has bestowed upon us.” He reached for my hand kissing the back of it. Sparks flew at the contact as I sighed closing my eyes. Wait! I snapped my eyes open giving him a hard glare. I cannot give into this.

“I-I don’t know if I can accept this so easily…” I sighed pulling my hand away, my eyes drifting away.

“Please don’t reject us. We want to make up for what we have done to you, give us a chance.” I heard Cree say sitting on the end of the bed as Lee was on the other side of the bed.

“Look, I know we did some pretty dumb s*** to you but please give us a chance…” Lee said with a desperate look in his eyes. I blinked in shock, I didn’t know what to say or do. All I have known was misery and depression, never did I think I would be in this type of situation. I took a deep breath closing my eyes. Can I truly give them a chance? I know for a fact I won’t reject them.

“It’s not as if I am going to reject you guys. I just…I’m very confused.” I admitted, they all looked at me concerned.

“I was brought in by your parents, my parents are dead, I have a crazy mad man after me, and now the future alphas I am serving or used to serve are my mates.” I rambled as they sat there in a tense silence. I ran a frustrated hand through my hair huffing.

“Look baby, we will make everything up to you one way or another.” Aziel said grabbing my hands, so now we are onto pet names? I rolled my eyes sighing. This cannot be happening right now.

“That’s very sweet of you, but how can I know for sure I can fully trust you three?” I asked with desperate eyes, they all looked at one another and grinned.

“Well, today is your birthday isn’t it?” Aziel asked already knowing my answer to that question, I nodded as Lee got up handing me a beautifully wrapped box, it had a soft pink bow on the top.

“Uh, W-What is this?” I asked hesitant to take the gift. Lee placed the box in my hand. When did they find the time to do this?

“If I told you it wouldn’t be a surprise now would it?” He chuckled, I looked at the box turning slightly red from the gesture. I ripped it open, my eyes must have been as big as saucers, I looked up at them with shock.

“You got me a new phone?” I asked breathlessly. They nodded at me.

“Yes, our numbers are in that phone, so that anytime you are in trouble or need anything you can contact us, or if you want to take pictures or whatever you would like to do to it is solely up to you.” Said Cree placing a soft kiss on my cheek, I felt warmth from just the kiss. I smiled slightly.

“I truly appreciate this, it’s just too much. When did you guys find the time to do all this?” I asked turning the phone on.

“Don’t worry about that, just know you have nothing to worry about. This is the start of us trying to earn your forgiveness. We know material things don’t matter but it’s the thought that we hope counts.” Cree said holding my hands.

Let us hope this is a new chapter I hope to begin.
