Bridgett Townsend's Point Of View

" Bridgett dear, what is wrong? You seem to be so down lately," asks Terresa.

" I don't know Terresa, it's just that conversation we overheard the prince's having last month with the Queen. I know we weren't supposed to hear it, but I'm glad that we did."

" Why don't you tell him how you feel Bridgett? Let him know your true feelings towards him."

"We both know that it is inappropriate for the maid to be with the future King."

"Who is telling you such things child," asks Terresa.

"That kind of romance only happens in the books and movies. Besides it is forbidden," states Bridgett.

" We both know that it is not forbidden, you must tell him who you are Bridgett. He has every right to fall for you," says Terresa.

" My family stepped out of the spotlight in our kingdom. So that we could make a name for ourselves. What would I even say? Hello Prince Gabriel, I am in love with you, and have been for quite some time. Oh, and it wouldn't be a forbidden romance. Why you ask, because I am a Dutchess in your neighboring kingdom. My family name is Townsend. Right I can only imagine how that would go over. "

" You never know unless you try. Besides my dear, you are running out of time. The Prince needs to be engaged within a month's time. Or else he shall forever be a bird. " Terresa says as she looks at Bridgett.
