Lana watched Alex drive away and she went back inside the house. She walked into the sitting room and sat down with her head in her hands. The pain in her chest wasn't going unnoticed, she felt broken and empty and her wolf was urging her to shift and run after her mate so that she could apologize and get back together but there was the problem, they were never together.
What was done was done and there was no turning back, she had completed phase one of her plan and now had to move on to phase two. She was contemplating going back to that pond but didn't know what she would do with Lisa.
After deciding to get up she headed upstairs to her bedroom, opening the door she found Lisa lying on her bed with her phone pressed up against her ear.
