The Demons Prey

Chapter Twelve

Lucifer banged on the table with his fist. "Who touched her?" He growled out his eyes shifting to solid black. Azalea looked at him in surprise.Why was he this angry? She looked into his eyes and felt as if the world around her way slowly melting into nothing. "Lucifer get a hold of yourself," Asmodeus growled as he reached over to cover her eyes, "Your pulling her in with your eyes!" she felt the pull stop as soon as she could no longer see. She blinked her eyes and shook her head. "What the hell was that?" She asked looking at Lucifer. "Well its one of my powers" He said with a smile. 

"Hello my name is Kate, and ill be your new waitress" Azalea turned to look at the woman and was mesmerized. She was so enchanting. Her long blond hair was so light it was almost white,  it came to her mid back. Her eyes stood out on her peach colored face as they were large and a deep Green, as if looking into a pine forest. Her lips small and yet still plump as she flashed a dazzling smile and a wink at Azalea. To top it all off, she had a petite frame that Azalea found herself wanting to touch. She blushed at the thought. Luci chuckled and Asmodeus sighed. "We'll need a minute", Lucifer said as he smiled at Azalea blushing. "Oh, of course. Please take your time, I'll come back in a few minutes". Azalea looked at Asmodeus and instantly regretted it. Yep he was mad. "Oh come on, a pixie?" He growled out in frustration. Azalea looked at him confused. "Huh?" Lucifer Laughed out loud at that. "You mean to tell me, you know demons exist but not pixies?" He said as he held his abs laughing. Azalea scowled at him and he laughed harder. "Oh no the scary half angel is gonna get me", he said laughing harder. "Wait, What did you just say" Azalea asked sitting up. How were people finding out about her. If they found out about her father, then it wont be long till they find out about her mother. Lucifer calmed down and sat back in his chair picking up his water. "I said you were gonna get me?" He repeated confused. Azalea was no longer laughing, she leaned in so that she was close enough for just there demon ears to hear. "Cut the crap," she said as both men looked confused and shocked. "How do you demons keep finding out about me?" She asked through gritted teeth. Asmodeus leaned back in his chair watching, this was Lucifers' fight not his. He looked at Lucifer and smiled. "Ask Luci?" He said his smile getting wider as Lucifer growled. "Seriously dude?" He hissed, "I only looked into her because of you" Lucifer said with a smile. yes it was true, but it wasn't as if he had asked him to. Asmodeus opened his mouth to remind his brother just that, When Azalea suddenly stood up. "I'm going to the ladies room, when I come back you better be prepared to answer my questions... Both of you". She angrily walked away. "Oh dear, you idiots really messed that up" came a voice from behind them. Lucifer and Asmodeus both growled as they turned to look at Kate. "AND?" Lucifer growled out. "What's it any of your business?" The woman laughed as they watched the woman's face change, both men stood up. "I mean, I'm only trying to stick up for my future daughter." Came the familiar voice. "Lilith..." both men said in unison. The woman smiled and before they could blink, Liliths' 'preferred human form' was before them. "I heard I had a new daughter that  I needed to meet, so I came here to sense her potential, but why are the two of you here with your brothers woman?" Lilith asked softly. She was their demon mother. She had the final say in whether someone crossed or not. All demons are her children and she only accepted the best to be sired by her blood. All the lower demons were simply demons made behind her back, but she loves them all none the less. Satan had wanted all lower rank demons killed off, it was only because of Lilith that he didn't go through with it. She told him "To kill a demon, weather it was sired from her blood or picked by her or not, was to kill a part of her, for she was the demon mother and all demons are her children." Both men bowed to her. Though she was their mother, she was also more powerful than any other demon known. They had seen what happens when her kindness runs out. She could easily kill them both before they could even think to defend themselves. "I'm sorry for our rudeness mother" Asmodeus said as he held his breath. He felt the gentle tap on his shoulder and both he and Lucifer looked up into her smiling face. "tell me have my boys learned to share is that why the three of you want to claim her?" she asked in a way only she could. Asmodeus looked back down, "The woman is mine" He said stating his claim. Lilith looked at her sons and smiled. Lucifer stepped forward, "I also claim interest" He said firmly. Asmodeus couldn't help the growl that came from his chest. "Enough!" Came the firm demand from behind them. All three turned to see Azalea shaking with anger. "You think I'm a piece of property" she spat out as she clenched her fists looking at the floor. "Oh dear," Lilith said taking a step back", she looked at her sons and began to giggle. Asmodeus and Lucifer looked at each other confused. "Whats so funny?" Lucifer  asked. Lilith pointed a finger at Azalea laughing. "She... She..." She said as she laughed harder. Azalea looked up and the air in the building ran cold. "I'm leaving".
