I woke up by the knock on the door. Uncle Gabriel called to seek permission to enter my chambers . I granted him access after adjusting clothes on my body and setting myself on the huge arm chair behind the writing desk.

“Please come in”

He came in distress , fatigue written all over his face , worry evident in his eyes. He rested in front of me and sighed then said.

“Alex every one awaits your presence , it’s hour to address the meeting”.

Mention of the meeting brought smile to my face , I can feel rush of excitement in my veins ,happiness as I said with an amused look on my face.

“Uncle you should entertain our guest, I will be their shortly”.

He had a pained expression on his face , obviously due to my present state of mind , his eyes gave him away , reasoning with me , questioning me as if asking me’’ my child what have you done to yourself’’. He was never good at disguising his emotions. He desired to say something but acted against his will , as his lips moved but they never formed a word . He was well aware of my nature , of what I have become.

“Very well then , be quick we will proceed when you will arrive”.

I just nodded at him and than he took his leave . The moment sound of doors clicking reached my ears , I stood up ran up to my bed and fell on it . Finally tomorrow is the day I anticipated with each passing second of my life for past six years . It is the beginning of the downfall of my enemies and I will savour every bit of their misery.

I got up walked to the wardrobe and picked out a set of clean clothes to change into after bath . Putting the clothes on bed I went to bathroom for a much needed shower . Standing under the shower ,

Letting the warm water soothe my nerves , I scrubbed my skin with a scrubbing cloth as I have no idea when will I am going to have the next shower because the battle can prolong if the people who are governing XEOZAR from CAPITAL CLENOIRE sitting in CHERRY BLOOSM cherishing the last ever happy moments of their life can get help from their masters when the ambush happens.

Soaking my body dry wrapping a towel around me I exited the bathroom and change into my choice of clothes for the meeting I decided to wear a beige tunic paired with leather pants , a brown vest over the tunic and finally completing the the look with combat boots. I dressed myself with clothes I usually wear cause you never know what might happen the next moment , no one knows one can be under attack and believe me those dresses girls wear to display their body for men makes matter worse . The reason I choose to wear normal clothes is to show my sincerity to the people who choose to stand beside me in the times of need , I want to show them that I am not a spoiled princess who is dying to have her revenge for power but the girl who is courageous enough to go on battle for her people, for the tortures they went through in the hands of their enemies , for her kingdom and for her parents , she is a warrior , a soldier.

Leaving my chambers going through the long corridors I saw Thomas around the corner . I felt my buried emotions erupting ,the longing to know about the whereabouts of that person came rushing .

As I reached pass him , he bowed his head as a gesture of respect .

He said “Hello Princess”.

I said “Hi Thomas”.

We have no formalities to accord to .As he and I are pretty close to each other except that he likes to call me princess.

“So you got anything on him”

With a painful look he fixed his gaze on the floor , not keeping the eye contact with me , he took his pause to answer me , though by now I know the answer by his expressions but still I have that tiny little hope left in me which says he is coming back to you .But all hopes shattered when Thomas replied

“My apologies princess they found nothing about him . I have send the best trackers to trace him down but he is nowhere to found. It is as if he has vanished from the face of earth.”

A low unintentional sarcastic chuckle left from my mouth .

“So he does not want me to find him.”

Emptiness , sorrow filled me . My heart is aching to feel his presence.

Taking a deep breath I made my way ,Thomas following me closely towards the Hall of King where is the meeting currently going on .

I halted in front of the huge doors , two guards stood there on attendance , they bowed to me greeting me

“Your Highness”

I returned their gesture by slightly nodding my head and with a polite smile on

One of the guard asked “ your Highness shall I make your presence known”

I said “ no need for that , just open the doors”.

“yes your highness”

And then they opened the doors for , composing myself with steady steps I entered . All seven heads turned towards me. I bowed in courtesy as a sign of manners and greeted them with no emotions on display , a poker face that I have learned to maintain, restraining my self from showing any weakness.

“Hello gentlemen . I Princess Alexandrian Romano Atomare is at your service . Pleasure to have your acquaintance.”

There were total nine souls present in here including me and Thomas.

And the last soul who is present but does not wish to make his presence known .

Arthur said “ We shall begin”.

We move forward in sink to take our place on the table where lie the maps of Astorous and Xeozar.

I can feel two set of eyes on me watching my every move , one among them is quite not prepared to show his face and the other person is General Hayden . I make eye contact with him for a moment and caught him .He wants to talk I can read it on his face , nodding at him making him assure that we will talk but in private.

Then I address the meeting “First of all I would like to say Gentleman thank you very much for your support in these difficult times , thank you very much for coming here on such short notice and choosing to stand beside me”.

The attack was not supposed to happen till two more full moons but the situation in Clenoire has become formidable for civilians and each passing day it is getting ruse.

Lord Maximus : Your welcome princess and its okay we are into this together and we will face it together . But Princess I know we will go with our previous plan to attack all four major cities at the same time to get the hold of Xeozar but what I do not understand and it worries me is who will lead the army for the battle to capital Clenoire as we all know Lord General Dimitri is not present with us.

As much as I hate to admit the truth this old trunk has said is right. Speaking from his experience he is in his late forties ,he knows very well which wood will make the ship last long in the ocean.

Uncle Gabriel has that look of hurt , worry, disappointment all at the same time on his face cause he knows my answer.

In a very steady , cold voice that is enough for them to do not question my decision I said leaving them shock
