A Late-ish Morning

222 Words
My alarm woke me up. I couldn't stop thinking about Caden. I stuffed the drawing into my bag, showered, and ate my breakfast. I met up with Caden outside the gates, and he hugged me. "Aww!" Said Jared and his friends. I guess they knew Caden was gay. They do know him, after all. Some girls looked at me like I was an i***t. I'm such a perfect, athletic guy.. How could I like guys? "Sorry, Michael.." Said Caden. "No, you're fine. I just don't understand myself sometimes," I then whispered, "How could a perfect guy like me like men?" Caden whispered back, "You're just being you, Michael. It's okay!" I then noticed, he's happier than usual. "Caden, you seem different..." "Oh, yeah! I took what you, your mom and dad said and went ahead and confronted my parents. I got slapped so it was a great excuse for me to call the police. I didn't care anymore, I was happy to see my dad be escorted out." Said Caden. "Caden... I'm worried about you. Are you sure you're okay with this?" "Uh-huh! of course Michael! Stop worrying about me! I'm happy a can be, wheeee!" He ran around in circles around me then grabbed my hand. "Haha, you're blushing, Michael" I stood there silent, with a slight smile on my face.
