Milena's POV
Pensive tremors return as I trail into the house with the hopes of finding Isabella, I agree I dread the outcome. I'll just explain things to her. As I step into the room she turns around to look at me with tear-filled eyes. I drop the documents that I took from Mrs. Helen and open my arms for her.
" Isa, are you okay? I called but Julian said he'll take care of you. Did they hurt you?" I coo caressing her hair. I hope she isn't hurt.
" No, I was so scared" I drop my hand on her back in relief. Mom and dad descend the stairs looking from me to Isa who quickly disentangles herself from me.
" What happened?" Dad asks looking at me. I stare at Isa noticing her blinking lashes and trembling lips. She doesn't want them to know.
