Chapter 8

1180 Words
Greer’s POV The last thing I thought he would ever ask me was this kind of question. What was he trying to drive at? What was he trying to say? Was he trying to call me and my mother a gold digger? No, he can't. I dare him. Or has he suspected that there was something going on between his father and I? Looking at him, he doesn't look like someone that has found out the truth. It might probably be a random question. Maybe it was just his mind and his intrusive thoughts won. Thinking about it again, I couldn't care less. Calder is mine. Mine to please, mine to pleasure and f**k. I won't leave him. I mean if I do that, who is going to pleasure him? Who was going to take his huge, veiny c**k like I do, huh? No one. No one. He is mine. Even if he was my stepfather, I was ready to go extra miles for him. To be his and his only. I will not allow anyone to hinder me from my happiness. I will do everything it takes to make sure our secret is protected. I will make sure that me and him enjoy ourselves to the fullest. I folded my arms and stared deep into his eyes. "What exactly do I want? What does that even mean?" I waited for him to explain himself to me. I want to know exactly what he meant by that. "Are you really just here to see my father or to demand something from him? And your mom too." I rolled my eyes. "What do you take me for? Wait...are you trying to call us a gold digger?" He snapped up his head to look at me. "What? No. It's just that -" "Well, I hope not. We are family. Don't you think it's right if I get to know who my stepfather is? I need to know him. We are family." I explained and he nodded. He fell for it. "Yes, you are right. You are right. I didn't think about that and I am not trying to accuse you of something. You gotta stop acting defensive though if we are going to hang out." He stated and I breathed a sigh of relief silently. Then we walked out of the hallway and as we descended the stairs to the living room, he started another conversation. "Hm..I was about to go out after seeing dad but since he is busy, why don't we go out together. Join me and my friends. We are hanging out at the newly opened bar. At least we could get to know each other well and our parents too. You can ask me anything about my dad and I can too about your mom. How does that sound?" He asked. "That’s better. I...uh...I just need to dress up. I will meet you outside in ten minutes." I said and he agreed. He replied he needed to fix his clothes too. We agreed to meet outside in the next ten minutes. I headed back to my room. I rested my back on the door immediately I entered and locked the door. It was then I realized that I had been holding back some tension in my shoulders. It felt so good when I released my shoulders. I ran my fingers through my hair and looked around. Thank goodness I wasn't caught. If we were caught, it would have been a different story totally. I went in further and stepped into the walk in closet to find a suitable dress to wear. I settled on a blue, armless, mini gown that stepped mid-thighs. I put on stiletto heels and grabbed a purse. I glanced at myself in the mirror. First impression matters a lot. Spraying my perfume, I took one last glance at the mirror and stepped out. My phone rang while on my way to meet Wells. I checked the caller ID. It turned out to be my best friend, Cassey. Cassandra Kim. Cassey for short. She is half Korean, half American but when one sees her, she doesn't look Asian at all. Her complete American genes took over. Cassey was the complete opposite of me. She has a body to kill for. Her hour glass figure that makes her fit to be a model. She is a full time model who also writes for fun. She writes novels and they are my favourite. Cassey is an extroverted, bubbly b***h. She is also bold compared to me. Her sense of dressing was a little different from mine. Even though she's Korean, she shows too much skin and doesn't give a f**k. I pressed on the 'answer' icon and placed it on my ear as I walked down the hallway. Not Calder’s this time around. "You little d**k sucker, where have you been? You haven’t even called since we last saw each other at New Year's Eve. C'mon now, what have you been up to?" I looked around to see if anyone overheard anything. "Jesus Christ, Cassey. You are so loud. What if someone heard you? Where have you been by the way? As for me, I am hanging out with my new brother....stepbrother. " I almost trailed off at the end. "Jeez, girl. You only told me your mother was remarrying. You didn't say she had a stepson." She pointed out. She was right. I didn't tell her. "You are right. I didn't. I only found out recently when we moved in too." I told her and I knew she was about to make a big deal out of it. I wasn't going to let her. "So what now? Are you screwing him already?" I bit my lips. There we go. Her crazy fantasies. "What? No. No. NO!" I said and almost threw up. He is not that bad but I can't. That's disgusting. But it wasn't disgusting when you sucked his father's c**k, my subconscious mind reminded me. I swallowed a lump of saliva. "I will just call you later. " I said and disconnected the call. I found my way out and he was already there by the car. He was all dressed up in a blue jeans trouser and a baggy shirt. Just as he searched for the keys in his right pocket, the rest of the other things fell out on the floor. I instantly lowered my knees while using the other hand to support my dress from behind. The dress was freaking tight and short. It was not like someone forced me into it. It was just my choice. My stupid choice. Just as I was packing the things, I sighted something that looked like a lens. I moved closer to it and just as I was about to grab it, he gripped it. Instantly, I knew what it was. A pinhole lens. Lenses. Wait. Wait. No...this can't be. It only meant one thing. Wells had a camera planted in the house but where in particular? Could it be everywhere in the mansion?
