I sat on the edge of my bed and pulled on my hoodie before putting on my sweatpants. I flopped back down on my bed, staring at the ceiling. It wasn't always like this, our parents doted on us both. Our mum didn't have a good upbringing with her parents, she never tells exactly what happened but I do know our grandparents weren't the nicest. She always said she wanted us to have the childhood she didn't have, and we did for a while. We can't stay here. Carson can't stay here. I sighed and sat up as Carson came out of the bathroom.
