Carly's POV
I wonder who created school? I think they just wanted to get rid of their children or something like that, or maybe they wanted to t*****e us children so that we will do our chores. Ugh why am I thinking about stupid things?
"Carly! Are you even listening to me?!" Allysa asked me a little bit annoyed
"Sorry, um what were you saying again?" I said
"I was trying to tell you about homecoming but you clearly aren't listening" she said a bit calmer now
"Wait when is homecoming again?" I asked because I wasn't listening to our principal. I was to busy wondering, what came first the chicken or the egg? I know, I know it sounds stupid but I can't help it!
"It's still one month away" she said pouting "Ugh, why can't it happen tomorrow?!" She added
"Well I actually don't care about it. I mean why do we need homecoming? All we do there is dance right?" I said taking a bite of my pizza
"Well I don't know who created homecoming but I think the purpose of it is for the students to have fun" she said before sipping her drink
"Well we'll also have fun if we just stay at home. I hate wearing dresses and heels. You know that right?" I said with my mouth full
"Manners Carly" she said handing me a tissue
"Sorry" I said wiping my mouth
"Anyways, who do you think will ask me to homecoming?" She said
"Kyle?" I said
"No seriously" she said
"I mean it Kyle is standing behind you, with the others" I said with a slight frown
Why are they always eating with us. Ever since they started hanging out with us, Allysa and I have been receiving glares, threats, and sometimes rude comments like s**t and wh**e. We don't really care though because we know they are just annoyed that they aren't getting any attention from the "bad boys".
"Hey Allysa" Kyle greeted her. Seriously did he just ignore me, I mean I get that he likes Allysa BUT I AM ALSO A FREAKING HUMAN! Can't he see me or something?!
"Hi" Allysa said while tucking her hair behind her ear
"Hello to you to Kyle" I said sarcastically
"Ohh, sorry didn't see you there" he said rubbing the back of his neck
Seriously I get that I am short but how can he not notice me? You know what I am just being stupid, just forget about it
"Nah it's alright" I said sipping my smoothie "So um you wanna tell us why on Earth are you hanging out with us?" I added trying not to be rude
"Well you see, Kyle likes Allysa and he wants to eat with her" Raymond said
"I never said that jackass" Kyle said slapping Raymond's arm
"Ohh, so you like Allysa huh?" I said with a cheeky grin
"Sort of" he said nervously
"I just want to tell you one thing, you hurt her or I see her cry because of you, I swear I WILL kill you" I said seriously but I smiled sweetly after that
"Promise" he said
"Okay. So Allysa your crush likes you" I said nudging her
"Can you please just shut up" she said her head buried in her hands
"Well Kyle for your information Allysa likes you back" I said earning a slap from Allysa
"Isn't that nice to here right Kyle" Jake's teased
"Whatever" Kyle said sitting down next to Allysa
The others soon followed. I'm in the middle of Alex and Marcus while Jake and Raymond are sitting in the end of the table
"Wanna have fun tonight?" Marcus suddenly asked
"No" I said sternly
"Why not?" The guys asked
"Well you answer them Allysa" I said finishing up my food
"Jayson won't allow her" she said shrugging
"Why is Jay so protective?" Alex suddenly asked. With him mentioning that I suddenly asked myself, that is a good question
"I don't know?" I said confused
"Well, just beg Jayson to let you come and I am sure he will allow you" Alex said
"I'll try, but I promise you it won't work" I said before standing up throwing my trash and I headed out of the lunch room
