CHAPTER 26: Ivy’s POV The moment our lips met again, something inside me cracked. All my confusion, my anger and all of my fear... gone. It melted into a raw and desperate hunger. I kissed him back hard with fingers in his dark hair and pulling him closer. My mind was screaming. This is wrong. He’s dangerous. You don’t know him. But my body didn’t care. It burned for him. Every nerve begged for more. We stumbled through my apartment door, a tangle of limbs and frantic kisses. His hands were everywhere, tugging at my waitress uniform. I was just as desperate, fumbling at the buttons of his expensive shirt. Our breaths were ragged, fabric tearing. A button popped off and rolled across the floor. I didn’t care. I pushed his shirt off his shoulders, my palms sliding over his hard chest.
