I had become more cautious about everything ever since I caught Zane cheating. For now, I could not be one hundred percent sure that tiny blinking thing was a camera. And even if it was, I had no way of telling if it was actually recording. So I turned around, opened the door again, and shut it to create the illusion that I had left. Then I took off my shoes and crept slowly and quietly toward that faint red blinking dot. The second I got close enough, I swung my hand out and knocked the set-top box straight off its mount on the wall. Luckily, back when we had renovated the place, I had thought the set-top box looked too messy on the floor, so I had a custom wall mount made for it. That gave me a ready excuse that the mount was not sturdy enough. I lingered in the dim room for a while
