“Bring me that,” Roland said, as he nodded to the tray of meals beside his bed. He knew that Zuri had simply walked into this room after Martha brought his lunch and took his breakfast that he didn’t touch at all. “You should have asked Martha earlier,” Zuri said, as she stood a exact distance away from him. Yet, Roland stated nothing and stayed still like usual, leaving Zuri with no different desire but to come over and put the tray on his lap.
