“I already love you,” Harper said matter-of-factly, tugging Venkat into the room. “This is Beck; he’s not in the band, but he’s mine.” Beck O’Leary, ruggedly handsome, sulky-faced, waved from a couch at the other end of the control room. “I know who he is.” Venkat waved in reply and set down his violin out of the way. He couldn’t use it until Red showed up, anyhow—if he needed it at all today.
