# Part 6 — The Survival Plan
“Lily… where are we going?” Ethan asked as they followed her through the deserted road.
Lily glanced back at them and smiled faintly.
“Just trust me. I want to show you guys something.”
After nearly twenty minutes of driving, the vehicles finally stopped in front of a massive steel door hidden beneath a deserted hillside.
Everyone stepped out silently.
For a moment, nobody spoke.
The structure in front of them looked less like a house and more like a military fortress.
Arjun’s eyes widened.
“Lily…” he whispered. “What is this?”
Lily walked toward the giant door and placed her hand against the scanner.
Heavy mechanical sounds echoed through the underground passage as the doors slowly opened.
“This,” Lily said quietly, “is the place I’ve been building for the last five years.”
Everyone stared at her in disbelief.
“It’s our survival shelter.”
The lights flickered on one by one as they entered.
“And if everything goes wrong…”
She looked back at them.
“This will be our final hope until help arrives.”
The bunker was enormous.
Bright white lights illuminated long hallways connected to multiple rooms. Metal storage cabinets lined the walls, and security cameras were placed in every corner.
Bright looked around nervously.
“How big is this place?”
Lily ignored the question.
“Come. I’ll show you everything.”
The first room was designed like a resting area. A huge sofa sat in the centre while beds surrounded the walls.
The second room immediately froze everyone in place.
Rows of rifles, pistols, shotguns, knives, ammunition, crossbows, and military equipment covered the walls.
Lisa’s eyes lit up instantly.
“No way…”
She slowly walked toward one of the rifles and picked it up carefully.
“Are these real?”
Lily smirked.
“Every single one.”
Lisa looked almost hypnotized.
Since childhood, she had been an exceptional shooter and had won several medals over the years. Holding those deadly weapons in her hands filled her with excitement.
Meanwhile, Ethan stared at the room speechlessly.
“Lily… this is insane.”
Ryan pointed toward another section.
“That room looks exactly like our chemistry lab back in college.”
Lily smiled softly.
“Because it is a chemistry lab.”
The next room contained rows of empty storage racks.
Ethan frowned.
“What’s this place supposed to be?”
“Water supplies. Oxygen cylinders. Emergency storage.”
Bright slowly nodded.
“Okay… now I’m officially scared.”
The group laughed nervously.
Then Lily showed them the control room.
Massive computer systems covered the walls, displaying maps, CCTV feeds, encrypted files, and digital tracking systems.
Arjun stood frozen.
“You built all this?”
Lily nodded.
The next section contained a giant walk-in refrigerator where preserved food, canned supplies, medicines, and emergency rations can be stored.
Finally, they reached the sleeping quarters filled with bunker beds and attached washrooms.
Everyone looked around in amazement.
The bunker didn’t feel temporary.
It felt like Lily had been preparing for the end of the world her entire life.
Later, they all returned to the resting room. Some sat on the sofa while others collapsed onto the beds.
The silence in the room felt heavy.
Ryan finally broke it.
“How did you even do all of this?”
Lily remained quiet for a few seconds.
“You guys remember the first time I told you about my dreams?”
Lisa nodded. “Hmm… yeah.”
“At first, I thought they were just nightmares,” Lily said. “Then they became more frequent. Eventually… I thought I was losing my mind.”
“But one thought never left me.”
She looked directly at them.
“What if they were real?”
The room fell silent.
“What if everything I saw actually happens someday?”
Her fingers tightened.
“That question haunted me every single day.”
She took a deep breath.
“I tried everything to escape it. Gym training. Martial arts. Therapy. Distractions.”
Ryan suddenly looked at her.
“The dreams never stopped?”
Lily slowly shook her head.
“I lied to all of you.”
Nobody moved.
“I didn’t want you guys to worry, so I said they had disappeared… but they never did.”
Ryan looked hurt but stayed silent.
“So I made a decision,” Lily continued. “Before I completely lose my last bit sanity… I need to do something.”
She gestured around the bunker.
“So I started building this place in 2051.”
Bright immediately sat up from the bed.
“Lily, this bunker alone would cost a fortune. Where did you even get that kind of money?”
Lily gave a tired smile.
Arjun frowned.
“You used future information?”
“Every time I visited the future… or saw visions… I remembered the logos, advertisements, and companies around me. When I returned, I started buying shares of those companies. Most of them were either new or struggling at the time, so their stocks were cheap.”
Ryan stared at her.
“You were predicting the market…”
Lily lowered her eyes.
“Or maybe I was just insane. I never really knew.”
Ethan slowly leaned toward Ryan and whispered,
“I don’t think stock trading alone makes someone THIS rich.”
Ryan sighed dramatically.
“Your sister kept taking money from me.”
Everyone looked at him.
“She said she wanted branded handbags, diamond jewellery, expensive auction items…”
He pointed around the bunker.
“Now I finally know where all my money went.”
The room burst into laughter.
Ethan grinned.
“Brother-in-law, can I get some pocket money too?”
Ryan threw a pillow at him.
Bright said, he is not yet your brother-in-law.
Ethan replied, lily said he is going to marry her in the future with a massive diamond ring.
Ethan made a funny teasing face at Bright.
Meanwhile, Lily stood up again.
“Okay. Enough joking. Listen carefully.”
The atmosphere immediately became serious.
“Lisa, you’re going to train all of us in shooting and combat.”
Lisa smiled proudly.
“Finally. Something I’m good at.”
“Arjun, you’ll handle surveillance and hacking. I need access to every CCTV network in the city. I also want you monitoring Win Corporation constantly.”
Arjun’s expression darkened.
“The first infected person…”
Lily nodded.
“Was found there.”
The room became silent again.
“That computer room belongs to you now.”
Arjun slowly nodded.
“Preet and Ethan, you’ll work in the laboratory.”
Ethan’s face instantly brightened.
“Together?”
Preet laughed.
“Yes, genius. Together.”
“Bright,” Lily continued, “I need your connections. There are weapons I still couldn’t buy legally. I need imported equipment.”
Bright crossed his arms.
“And let me guess… you also want access to my family’s corporation?”
“Not just yours,” Lily replied calmly. “Every company connected to it.”
Bright groaned.
“You do realize that’s extremely illegal, right?”
Lily smirked.
“You also realize you’re one of the first people to die in my visions if we fail, right?”
The entire room exploded with laughter while Bright stared at them in betrayal.
Finally, Lily looked toward Ryan.
“Ryan and I will contact the military.”
Everyone became serious again.
“We need to convince them before it’s too late. Ryan’s family background gives us a chance that they might actually listen.”
Ryan nodded.
Lily slowly looked around the room.
At her friends.
At the people who had chosen to believe her.
Then she spoke quietly.
“And remember something important…”
Her voice became firm.
“We are not preparing just to survive the apocalypse.”
The room fell silent.
“We are doing this to prevent the apocalypse from ever happening.”
For a moment, nobody spoke.
Then Lily stretched her hand forward.
“So… let’s stop this together.”
One by one, everyone placed their hands together.
And then the entire room erupted.
“YEAHHHHHH!”
"LETS STOP THIS TOGETHER".
