“I see you’ve kept yourself busy after leaving Luminary, Lucien.” Standing by the entrance of the living room, Elias stared at Lucien with a look that could only be described as disapproval, but after seconds, it disappeared.
Lucien however, couldn’t hide the look of surprise that took over his face. “Doctor Elias,”
As opposed to the warm ‘Uncle Elias’ that Ivory calls him, Lucien addressed their master in a more formal manner.
“What a pleasant surprise. What are you doing in Paris?” He asked.
Elias’s eyes lingered on Ivory’s shoulder for a little while, and only then did she realize that Lucien’s hand was still on her shoulder.
Gently, she nudged it off and stepped away.
“I came here for Ivory. I’m sure you’re aware of the recent developments, am I right?”
