Evangeline could feel her skin burning with rising anger towards what Ivory had said as she stormed her way back into Gadreel’s ward.
As she walked in, Evangeline noticed that he had gotten off his bed and now stood by the window, staring at nothing in particular, but it was clear in his eyes that he was thinking about something…or rather, someone.
Evangeline felt her anger rise once again, however, ignoring it, she placed on a friendly smile and approached Gadreel.
“Reel, you should be in bed, you deserve all the rest you can get.” She reminded and ever so gently, lead him back to the bed where Gadreel sat silently for a few minutes before he spoke up.
