“We’ve been looking through the footage of the night Laura disappeared. Detective Voight has sent in more research documents. We are still poring over them. There is a lot to do but we are making progress.”
Christopher Colburn, the head of the investigative unit in our law firm updated me, his voice ringing clear with equal parts determination and frustration. He was meticulous in his work, one of the best in the field indeed. He hadn’t met a case he could not find a solution to but Laura’s case seemed to leave us all a little raw.
“Its okay, Chris. Thank you for the update. Let’s keep searching. We’ll find something soon. I’ll meet you all at the office for the Monday meeting. The Detectives will be coming to the firm, right?”
