Astrid’s gaze fell on the starved man. He had been kept in a degenerated state. As she unlocked the door to his cell to free him, tears came drifting down her cheeks.
“Are you okay, Stetson? That evil bastard tormented you inhumanly,” Astrid was confounded to witness Davies’s cruelty towards the knight.
Stetson tried to stay conscious as he assured an overwhelmed Astrid, “It has only been two days. I am fine."
"Two days? Look at you! They're monsters!" Astrid's eyes were filled with tears.
"I am fine. Let's just get out of here," suggested Stetson while wheezing.
Due to his inability to walk, Stetson acquired Astrid's support to walk out of the damned place. Before they'd exit the building, Astrid took hold of the guard's hammer and broke the chain that bounded her hands together.
