5 By the end of my work day I was feeling even more off balance. A large part of me wanted to return to my normal routine, my 9-5 life. But I couldn’t, not when I knew there was so much more going on around me than I had ever dreamed possible. That evening, these thoughts led me back to the museum. I found myself standing in front of Rubin’s paintings about a half hour before the museum was supposed to close. I stared at the deep, rich, passionate colors and undulating humanity.
