Thirty minutes later, I was being supported by Andrew and Duncan as we rode the elevator up to the office. We had to report the incident to Bobby, something I was really not looking forward to. I had wanted to just go home and pass out, but apparently, I was needed for whatever reason.
I reached up and gingerly touched the bandage on my right ear. Whoever had shot at me had pretty good aim and was also unlucky. One inch to the left and they would have accomplished their goal. Luckily for me, I didn't end up losing my whole ear, just the tip. Hopefully, with my vampire bloodline, it would heal up in the next couple of days.
