“Seth,” she whispered.
I stared at her confused. She was drenched with rain and was standing on my dorm door, her clothes sticking to her body. Her eyes were puffy and she looked so broken. I didn’t say anything, I just pulled her into a tight embrace and then into my room. She cried while I just held her and we both sank on the bed.
Once her sobs turned into light whimpers, I pulled away. I wiped away the tears on her cheeks and kissed her forehead, “What happened?”
She wouldn’t say anything, she just continued to cry, “Camille, tell me.”
“You happened.”
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, “What do you mean?”
“Will found out about us. Like there is an us and we got into a fight,” she said in the most nonchalant voice she could muster, “And he asked me if I’m in love with him.”
