I headed back rather quickly, maybe it’s because I was excited to try cooking again. Ever since that time I nearly poisoned Mark I sort of gave up on the idea of doing too much…
I had been said to be bad at the kitchen by more than one person… so I sort of ended up believing it I suppose. But now I have somewhat gained a bit more confidence I think…
“So… the recipe says to take the chopped up pieces of meat and put them in the frying pan at a medium setting…” I listed off things to myself one after another as I meticulously prepared the things as was suggested. I tried not to go off what was written as I didn’t want to risk messing it up somehow.
And yet still as hard as I apparently tried… it still didn’t look quite right by the end of it…
